WotLK Classic Mining Carry

Mining is one of the two main professions available to every player in WotLK. It is a gathering profession, just like Herbalism and Skinning. Usually, Mining is used in conjunction with crafting professions such as Blacksmithing, Jewelcrafting, or Engineering. Mining ore comes from ore deposits scattered around the Northrend. For mining, you will need a Mining Pick. There are two types of ore deposits: rich and ordinary. From ordinary and rich deposits you get the same loot, but in a rich vein, the amount of loot is more. From deposits you get various ores, crystallized elements and sometimes gems. Ores, gems, and crystallized elements are used to create various equipment, enchantments, and other useful items. There are 3 main types of ore in WotLK: Cobalt ore, Saronite ore and Titanium ore. Ores can be smelted with the Smelting spell, which also increases Mining skill. The most sought after ore in Northrend is Titanium Ore, which can be smelted into Titanium Bars, which are then smelted into Titansteel Bars. Titansteel Bar can be crafted once every 20 hours. Titansteel Bar is an important and expensive component for crafting the Mechano-hog/Mekgineer's Chopper, equipment, and some enchantments. In WotLK Mining also provides a Stamina bonus called Toughness. The amount of Stamina depends on your current Mining skill, for example rank Apprentice gives +3 Stamina, and Grand Master +60 Stamina, which will be a good help for the Tank role. Even without conjunction to other professions, Mining remains quite profitable, which makes this profession very rewarding.
