Diablo 4 Unveils Season 3 - The Era of Creation

Blizzard has recently unveiled the highly anticipated Diablo 4 Season 3 - Season of the Construct! In this new season, ancient forces are posing a threat to Sanctuary and it's up to players to face the danger head-on. With the help of a Seneschal Companion, players will navigate treacherous traps and hunt down the deadly Constructs lurking beneath the deserts of Kehjistan.

Unearthing Zoltun Kulle's Legacy

A new questline in Season of the Construct takes players deep beneath the sands of Kehjistan, where they will uncover the truth behind the Loom, an ancient technology created by Zoltun Kulle and Ayuzhan of Caldeum. Unfortunately, this powerful tool has been corrupted by the malevolent demon Malphas. Players will be guided by Ayuzhan herself as they venture into the treacherous Vaults and put an end to Malphas' reign.

To embark on the Seasonal Questline, players must create a new character on the Seasonal Realm and have completed the Main Campaign. However, there is an option to skip the Main Campaign's prologue and jump right into the action.

Battle Alongside the Seneschal Companion

A new feature in Season of the Construct is the introduction of the Seneschal Companion. Players will be able to acquire their own Seneschal Companion during the Seasonal Questline, and this companion can directly engage in combat or provide support on the sidelines. By using Governing and Tuning Stones found in the Vaults and throughout Sanctuary, players can customize their Seneschal Companions to fit their desired build. These stones determine the abilities of the Seneschal Companion, with Governing Stones determining attacks and Tuning Stones providing utility and enhancements.

There are various ways to acquire Governing and Tuning Stones, including completing Vaults, finding Wardwoven Chests, and defeating enemy Constructs within the Vaults. To unlock the full potential of these stones, players must level them up by collecting duplicates and fusing them together. This increases the potency and effectiveness of the Seneschal Companion's attacks.

Players can equip their Seneschal Companion with up to 2 Governing Stones and 6 Tuning Stones. With a total of 12 Governing Stones and 27 different Tuning Stones of different rarities, there are plenty of options to customize and optimize the Seneschal Companion for battle.

Deadly New Dungeons: Vaults

In Season of the Construct, players will face the challenge of navigating through deadly new dungeons known as Vaults. These specialized dungeons were designed by Zoltun Kulle and Ayuzhan and are filled with elemental Hazards and an entirely new monster family called The Constructs. The Vaults were originally created to keep out demonic influence but have now been corrupted by Malphas and his forces.

By converting Pearls of Warding, players can enter the Vaults and potentially be blessed by Zoltun's Warding, a special blessing that grants access to valuable treasures within the Vaults. However, players must be cautious as Zoltun's Warding diminishes with each Hazard encountered. Successfully defeating the Vault Boss without losing all of Zoltun's Warding will unlock a Wardwoven Chest with a higher chance of granting Legendary items.

The Gauntlet: A New Challenge

In Season of the Construct, players can also look forward to a new challenge known as The Gauntlet. This weekly rotating fixed dungeon will put players' skills to the test as they compete for the top spot on the leaderboards. Only the strongest players will earn a permanent place in the Hall of the Ancients, making it a highly competitive endeavor.

Quality-of-Life Updates and Rewards

Season of the Construct brings several quality-of-life updates to enhance the gameplay experience. Helltides, special events, will now be almost constantly active, allowing players to battle Hellspawn and collect Cinders more frequently. PC players can also enjoy enhanced movement with the option to navigate through Sanctuary using the W-A-S-D keys.

Players can earn rewards through the Season Journey and Battle Pass. The Season Journey consists of various chapters to complete, with each offering unique rewards such as legendary aspects, the Awoken Adamant Armor, and Scrolls of Amnesia for skill and Paragon resets. The Battle Pass, consisting of 90 tiers, offers even more rewards including armor sets, mounts, and cosmetic items.

Tejal's Shop and Diablo IV Livestream

Tejal's Shop will be updated with new equipment, armor, accessories, and mount bundles to provide players with even more options for customization. And for players eager for more information, a Developer Update Livestream is scheduled for January 18th, where the Diablo IV team will discuss everything players can expect in Season of the Construct.
