Diablo 4 Update: New Forlorn Hovel Cellar Unlocked

Secretfinders, rejoice! A major breakthrough has been made in the search for Diablo 4's Cow Level. A dedicated player has discovered the method to acquire the three relics required to access the mythical Forlorn Hovel. Many experts speculate that this hidden cellar may hold the key to unlocking a portal into Sanctuary's parallel cowmension!

Diablo 4 Cow Level - What We Know So Far

Recently, new information about the Secret Cow Level has been unveiled. It appears that players must eliminate a daunting total of 666 cows in order to obtain one of the three relics necessary to craft a key. This key, in turn, opens the entrance to the secret cellar believed to be the gateway to Diablo 4's Cow Level. Sound complicated? Let's recap what we know thus far:

Back in June, theorycrafters and dataminers meticulously analyzed Diablo 4's release client data, specifically searching for any hints about a possible Cow Level in Blizzard's latest ARPG. Their efforts bore fruit as they uncovered some compelling evidence. Three "objects of great significance" - refer to as A, B, and C - appeared to be the vital components required to construct a key. This key, in turn, could open the entrance to a secret cellar known as the Forlorn Hovel. Interestingly, the name of this cellar was present in the client files during Diablo 4's beta phases but remained inaccessible. However, the geographic location of the Forlorn Hovel was known through the files: Scosglen in the Highland Wilds, reminiscent of the Scottish cattle breed.

• Peculiar Geography and Cow Inhabitants

Continuing our investigation, two weeks following our initial report, it was revealed that the shape of the zone resembled a cow's head. On top of that, it featured an abundance of cows roaming its terrain. These clues provided further evidence in the ongoing quest for Diablo 4's elusive Cow Level.

After four long months and numerous attempts by the Cow Level Secret Finding Discord, a breakthrough finally occurred. One dedicated player managed to acquire a single relic by slaying exactly 666 cows. The Discord server admin, known as Chef, notified the community that each player could only retrieve one relic per week, with the assumption that the timer was set at 666666 seconds or roughly 7.7 days. Luckily, the relics can be traded among players, making it easier to gain access to the coveted cellar when working in a group!

Once the relics have been collected, players must journey to the Oxen Shrines fountain in Ked Bardu. There, they can craft the key that grants eternal access to the Forlorn Hovel. Upon entering the cellar, players will encounter a multitude of cows. Defeating all the cows inside will eventually cause the final cow to drop the elusive - an homage to the renowned Cow King from Diablo II, who still drops Stamina Potions to this day.

Upon consuming the Stamina Potion, players receive an unknown buff lasting five minutes. Its effects, if any, remain a mystery. This marks the final piece of the puzzle for now.
