Enhancements Planned for Settlements & Merchants in Diablo 4 Season 2
Written by WowCarry
Diablo 4 Season 2 is set to bring a range of exciting improvements and changes to the game, including the highly anticipated quality-of-life enhancements. Players will be pleased to know that along with these improvements, the developers have also announced significant changes to Stash and Vendor locations throughout Sanctuary.
Stash Enhancements
To address the issue of limited storage, the developers have already implemented various measures in Season 2. Gems have been moved into the Materials tab, low-quality gear can now be automatically salvaged, and Search and Filter options have been added to the Stash. However, there are two additional changes that players can look forward to:
Expanded Stash Locations
In Season of Blood, every town with a Waypoint will now have a Stash. This will allow players to easily access their stored items without having to constantly travel to specific locations. Additionally, capital cities will feature multiple Stash locations, providing even greater convenience. For example, Kyovashad, a prominent city, will now have 4 Stash locations, allowing players to manage their inventory more efficiently and effectively.
Vendor NPCs Relocation
Understanding the importance of accessibility, the development team has also relocated several Vendor NPCs to enhance player convenience. Specifically, an Occultist has been added near the Tree of Whispers Waypoint, and the Purveyors of Curiosity have been moved closer to their respective capital cities' Waypoint. These changes aim to streamline the buying and selling process, allowing players to easily interact with vendors and save time.
While the developers continue to work on making Diablo 4 a leading game in the ARPG genre, the quality-of-life improvements in Season 2 demonstrate their commitment to addressing player concerns. These changes will undoubtedly enhance the overall player experience, promoting convenience and efficiency.
Additional Features
Besides Vendor relocation, there would be some new features in the Season of Blood. We describe it shortly in the section below.
Search & Filter in the Stash
One of the highly requested features for the Stash is the addition of a Search and Filter function. This functionality allows players to easily locate specific items within their vast inventory, reducing the time spent scrolling and searching. Whether you're looking for a specific weapon, armor, or crafting material, this new feature will streamline the process and greatly improve efficiency.
Gems and Season 2
In Season 2, there will be significant changes to Gems that will impact gameplay. The developers have reduced the enchantment costs associated with Gems, making it more accessible for players to enhance their gear. Additionally, low-quality gear will now drop as crafting materials, providing an alternative way to acquire the resources needed for crafting.
