Welcome to the latest blog post by WowCarry! In this article, we will be discussing the recent patch 10.2.5 Seeds of Renewal in the popular game Dragonflight. This patch brings exciting changes to pet charms and introduces four new battle pets. Keep reading to find out all the details!

Removal of Shiny Pet Charms

One significant change in patch 10.2.5 is the removal of Shiny Pet Charms. When you log in after the patch releases, you might notice some mail in your inbox. All Shiny Pet Charms have now been converted to Polished Pet Charms. This conversion also affects old world quests, which will now reward Polished Pet Charms instead. If you previously had any Shiny Pet Charms, they have been removed and converted accordingly. It's important to familiarize yourself with this change to make the most out of your pet collecting adventures!

New Battle Pets

Patch 10.2.5 introduces four new battle pets to Dragonflight. Two of these pets are currently hidden in the journal, meaning they will only become visible once obtained. This mysterious aspect has become a common occurrence in Dragonflight, often causing pet battlers to miss out on wonderful pets without even realizing it. Let's take a closer look at the new additions:

  • Hoplet

The first pet we'll discuss is Hoplet, a classic pet from Wrath of the Lich King. This adorable creature has now made its way to the retail version of Dragonflight and can be purchased in the in-game shop. Hoplet has unique abilities such as Trenchant Claws, Flurry, Moon Dance, Arcane Riposte (New!), Moon Tears, and Nibble. It's definitely worth adding Hoplet to your collection!

  • Lovely Duckling

Lovely Duckling will make its appearance in Dragonflight during the upcoming Noblegarden event, set to begin in early April. This event brings the opportunity to obtain this cute little pet. With abilities like Water Jet, Surge, Egg Barrage, Wild Magic, Pump, and Flock, Lovely Duckling will surely make a splash in your battles!

  • Reese

Reese is a pet that can be obtained through the achievement "Just One More Thing." Although currently hidden in the pet journal, it's worth the effort to unlock this pet. With abilities like Feedback, Powerball, Frenzy, Deep Research, Drain Power, and Swarm, Reese is a valuable addition to your pet battling team.

  • Hap'he

Hap'he is another hidden pet from the achievement "Finally At Rest." Discovering this pet will require some exploration in Dragonflight. With abilities like Feedback, Ott Breath, Cleansing Rain, Otter Breath, Deep Research, and Ottest Breath, Hap'he brings a unique set of skills to your pet battles.

  • Heartseeker Moth

Heartseeker Moth is a stunning pet that has been hidden in the pet journal for a while. Costing 40 Love Tokens, this pet becomes available during the Love is in the Air world event. It was technically added in a previous patch but is now obtainable. Heartseeker Moth possesses abilities like Slicing Wind, Focused Beams, Preen, Dust Cloud, Dazzling Dance, and Moth Dust. Collect this elegant creature to enhance your pet battling prowess!

That wraps up our overview of the new battle pets introduced in patch 10.2.5. Make sure to keep an eye out for these hidden gems and add them to your collection!
