It warms my heart to see how Azeroth has become a beloved virtual home to so many diverse players around the world, who have shared countless unforgettable moments over these past two decades. *virtual hugs* Like Morpheus exclaimed in The Matrix Reloaded, "WE are STILL here!" I'm grateful to have fallen down this epic rabbit hole and have never regretted how deep it goes. WoW truly is my wonderland - an enchanting realm that captivates me every single day.

We are unafraid to take risks and explore new horizons to bring you fresh and exciting experiences. Our development team is embracing invention and creativity, ensuring that the world of Azeroth remains a thriving and ever-evolving realm. Looking to the immediate future, we have WoW Classic's Season of Discovery Phase 2 launching on February 8 at 1:00 p.m. (21:00 GMT) worldwide. We've introduced some novel approaches that we're eager to test out, including new runes, an enhanced PvP system, skill books, and more. Your feedback will be invaluable in shaping the future of WoW Classic!

Furthermore, we're excited to announce that WoW Classic Hardcore's Self-Found mode is set to launch in late February, followed closely by the Beta for Cataclysm Classic. Stay tuned for more exciting news and updates about these upcoming additions to the WoW Classic experience.

Surprises Lie Ahead

As many of you may have noticed, this is the first time since the launch of Dragonflight that we haven't had an active Public Test Realm (PTR). We understand that this absence has sparked curiosity among the community. Fear not, for we have something truly unique and surprising in store for you!

For the highly anticipated 10.2.6 patch of Dragonflight, we've crafted an event inspired by the musings and speculations of our passionate community. This event will be accessible to all players with an active WoW subscription, whether they prefer Classic or Dragonflight gameplay. To keep the element of surprise intact, we're intentionally keeping it under wraps for now. Apologies for being a bit mysterious, but we want to preserve the joy of uncovering new content together as a community, just as we witnessed during the Season of Discovery. Rest assured, the surprise event will be revealed in March, bringing with it everything needed for Dragonflight Season 4!

Please understand that we've purposefully decided not to have a PTR for a portion of the content update. Our goal is to release content that has not been datamined or preemptively revealed, giving you all an opportunity to experience the thrill of discovery firsthand. We're excited to gauge your reactions and gather your feedback on this experimental approach. While there may be some bumps along the way, we are fully committed to ensuring a smooth and enjoyable launch experience for everyone.
