A Transposed Disc Tyr Conclusion Expedition in Patch 10.2 (Story Spoilers)

With the latest weekly reset on NA realms, a thrilling new questline has been unlocked in the epic story of Tyr's journey. As avid adventurers, we couldn't wait to dive into the final chapter and uncover the secrets that awaited us. However, before we proceed any further, we must issue a warning: this post contains spoilers for Patch 10.2 Story. If you wish to experience it firsthand, we urge you to complete the questline before continuing.

The Beginning of the Questline

The questline commences with a meeting with Valunei, located just to the right of the bank in Valdrakken. She informs us that the time has come for us to retrieve Tyr's Disc, an important artifact. In case we need a refresher, Valunei offers a recap on the Dislocated Disc questline from Patch 10.1.7. In this previous questline, Travard recruited us into the Tyr's Guard to help recover the disc, which held the memories of the keeper.

Travard, the leader of the Tyr's Guard, joins us in Tyr's Rest, where he reveals that the team has trained and prepared extensively for this crucial mission. We reunite with Koranos, Chromie, and Eternus at the forge in Tyrhold to make final arrangements. The atmosphere is electric with anticipation as we all gear up to infiltrate the Nighthold.

A Dash of Time Magic

As we enter the Nighthold in the new timeline, specifically the Astromancer's Rise, we encounter some guards. However, we are cautioned not to disturb the researchers by an enigmatic character who seems to have a deeper connection with us than we can fathom. Though we proceed cautiously, the members of the Tyr's Guard can't help but reflect on the tragic nature of their mission and the arcane constructs employed by the Nightborne.

At last, we confront Elisande, the Nighthold's formidable occupant. The battle ensues, but suddenly, she employs her mastery over time magic and sends us back to the moment before we attacked her. This unexpected turn of events demands a new strategy, and Talthis, one of our allies, proposes a plan to flank Elisande. Unfortunately, her powers prove insurmountable, and she throws us out once again, stating that she needs the disc to safeguard her people's future.

Undeterred, Nolaki, another member of the Tyr's Guard, suggests a daring approach. The team would attack Elisande while we and Valunei hold back until she is nearly defeated. Our final blows would secure victory. Miraculously, the plan succeeds with an unexpected intervention from Valunei herself. Instead of striking Elisande down, she pleads with the Grand Magistrix for Tyr's disc - and her plea is accepted.

A Triumphant Return and a Reunion

Carrying Tyr's long-awaited disc, we make our way back to Tyrhold. With bated breath, we insert the disc into the titan console, and the keeper himself is finally revived. In a subsequent quest, we witness Tyr catching up with the Dragon Aspects, Alexstrasza and Nozdormu. He is surprised to see that only two of the original Aspects are present, which leads him to believe that their absence during his slumber caused their sufferings. However, Alexstrasza assures him that he has been resurrected in a time of peace.

Alexstrasza expresses her gratitude to Captain Travard and the Tyr's Guard for their invaluable aid in reviving Tyr. The Tyr's Guard, having followed his example for centuries, are honored to have him as their leader. Tyr, curious about the diversity within the Tyr's Guard, requests to learn more about the various races that now inhabit Azeroth. The quest concludes with Tyr asserting his will to continue the titans' mission, while also seeking guidance from his newfound allies in the Tyr's Guard.

A Journey Fulfilled

Completing this momentous questline not only leaves us in awe of the rich lore and thrilling gameplay but also rewards us with the prestigious "of the Tyr's Guard" title. It's important to note that there is currently a bug preventing the awarding of the tabard and white scales customization.
