Additional Blizzard Responses to Rogue Rework and Player Feedback in Patch 10.2
Hey everyone, it's WowCarry here with some exciting news about the recent Rogue Rework in Patch 10.2! Over the past couple of days, Blizzard has been actively listening to player feedback and making adjustments to improve the Rogue class experience. Let's dive into some of the changes they've made.
Rogue Rework Fixes
First up, there was a hilarious bug where using Killing Spree with Dreadblades as an Outlaw Rogue could actually end up killing you, even if you had Cheat Death ready. Blizzard has acknowledged this issue and is working on a fix internally. The fix will be implemented in a future update, so until then, it's best to save your Cloak for the debuff or try to avoid using Killing Spree during Dreadblades. Good catch, and thanks for letting us know!
Another issue that was brought up by players is Blade Flurry cleaving through druid tranquility immunity and aspect of the turtle. Blizzard acknowledges this problem and is looking into a solution. While there are no specific details on the fix just yet, it's great to see them addressing these concerns and working to improve the gameplay experience.
Adjustments to Grand Melee
For those who have expressed dissatisfaction with the current version of Grand Melee (the buff from Roll the Bones), Blizzard has heard you and agrees that it's not quite hitting the mark. While they do like having a buff associated directly with Blade Flurry, they recognize that it's not intuitive to be forced to use Blade Flurry in single target situations just to benefit from the buff.
As a result, adjustments have been made to Grand Melee and will be included in a future PTR build. Here's what you can expect:
- Damage increased by 5%.
- Blade Flurry deals 10% additional damage to nearby enemies.
These changes will result in slightly lower single target value from the buff, but it will no longer require Blade Flurry to extract that value. On the other hand, it will provide slightly higher multi-target value at any target count above two. Overall, this should help improve the gameplay experience and provide more flexibility in your rotation.
Now, you might be wondering how these changes will affect your damage output, especially in PvP. The adjustments to Grand Melee will only impact the damage of the Rogue's abilities and melee auto-attacks. So, it won't affect the damage coming from other sources like trinkets.
Final Thoughts
It's great to see Blizzard actively engaging with the community and taking player feedback seriously. The Rogue Rework in Patch 10.2 is shaping up to be a significant improvement, with bug fixes and adjustments that address some of the major concerns raised by players.
As always, we'll keep you updated on any further developments and changes to the Rogue class. So stay tuned for more exciting news and updates. Happy gaming!
