Hotfixes on November 15th - Beast Mastery Hunters, Dungeons & Raids
Hey there, WoW fans! We've got some exciting updates to share with you from the latest Dragonflight hotfix blog. Blizzard has made some changes to the Season 2 Augmentation Evoker tier set, Beast Master Hunter pets, as well as fixing bugs for Rogues and Warlocks. Additionally, several Dungeons and Raids have been updated. Let's dive into the details!
New Changes to Augmentation Evoker Tier Set
Blizzard has addressed an issue with the Season 2 Augmentation Evoker tier set. The Ebon Might spell now properly benefits from the 4-piece class set bonus from Aberrus, as well as Close as Clutchmates. This fix ensures that players can fully enjoy the benefits of their Augmentation Evoker gear.
Beast Master Hunter Pet Changes
Beast Master Hunters, listen up! Blizzard has made some adjustments to Hunter pet attacks. Previously, pet attacks did not scale with weapon attack power. However, a recent hotfix has changed that. Now, Kill Command, Bite, Claw, Smack, Flanking Strike, Froststorm Breath, and Burrow Attack damage have all been reduced by 32.5%. This reduction is to balance the increased damage caused by Hunter pets benefiting from weapon upgrades. So make sure to upgrade your weapon and see your pet's special attacks pack an even bigger punch!
Additionally, Mend Pet and Revive Pet have been separated into individual utility buttons. This temporary change resolves some issues with interactions between Call of the Wild, Mend Pet, and Revive Pet. To access Mend Pet, players can find it in the "Pet Utility" flyout menu in the main Hunter spellbook.
Rogue and Warlock Bug Fixes
Rogues and Warlocks, there are a couple of bug fixes coming your way. For Outlaw Rogues, an errant interaction that caused the Soulrip ability to apply without the rogue dealing combat damage has been fixed. Now, players can unleash Soulrip with precision and timing.
For Warlocks, a bug that prevented damage from Dimensional Rift from breaking Fear effects has been resolved. Additionally, Demonology Warlocks will be pleased to know that Malefic Impact will now grant the proper amount of critical strike chance to Hand of Gul'dan.
Dungeon and Raid Updates
Blizzard has also made some changes to Dungeons and Raids. Here are a few highlights:
Amirdrassil
Smolderon |
Reduced the duration of Smoldering Ground puddles to 2.5 minutes (was 5 minutes) on Raid Finder difficulty. |

Item and PvP Updates
In addition to class and raid changes, there have been a couple of important updates to items and PvP:
Items
- The self-damage effect of Cataclysmic Signet Brand can no longer be dispelled, making it a more reliable offensive tool.
- The Porcelain Crab trinket from Throne of the Tides will no longer drop for non-melee classes, ensuring fair distribution of loot.

Priest and WoW Classic Era Fixes
Lastly, we have a couple of fixes for Priests and some news for WoW Classic Era players:
Priest
Discipline Priests can now rejoice, as the Guardians of the Dream 2-piece tier set will properly extend Atonements while using the Trinity PvP talent. This fix ensures that Priests can continue their strong healing in PvP battlegrounds.
