Amirdrassil Race to World First Day 9 Recap - Fyrakk Tuning, Private Auras, Reset 3 Possibility
Things are heating up in the Race to World First! The excitement is palpable as guilds battle it out to be the first to conquer Fyrakk in Mythic difficulty. In today's daily recap, Dratnos and Tettles provide an in-depth analysis of the fight, highlighting Fyrakk's tuning, the use of Private Auras, and more.
Fyrakk's Mythic Differences
As the guilds dive into the Mythic version of the Fyrakk encounter, they face new challenges and changes. The tuning of the fight is proving to be quite formidable, with both Echo and Liquid struggling to consistently progress beyond Phase 1. However, Liquid has managed to push deeper into Phase 2 at the time of this recording, thanks to their extended raid hours. Echo, on the other hand, has retired for the night and is likely to wake up to find Liquid significantly ahead. The difficulty of Tindral, the next boss in line, might stretch this race for several more days, potentially even threatening to enter the third reset.
Private Auras and Macro Solutions
Another topic of discussion in today's recap is the use of Private Auras during the Fyrakk encounter. Private Auras, similar to what we saw with Smolderon, once again make an appearance in the intermission phase. This mechanic has pushed guilds to develop Macros, which enable them to communicate with WeakAuras and replicate the desired effect. Dratnos and Tettles acknowledge the effort to reduce the reliance on WeakAuras for handling mechanics but express skepticism towards Private Auras as the ultimate solution. They note that most players do not seem to enjoy using the current Macro solutions.
