BlizzCon 2023 Charity Auction Begins
One of the core pillars of gaming is the joy of sharing experiences and creating lasting friendships. Gaming has a rich history of charitable initiatives such as charity streams, events like GDQ (Games Done Quick), contests, and more. Blizzard Entertainment, a renowned game developer, has always been actively involved in charitable endeavors. One of their most successful charity initiatives is the sale of charity pets, with millions of dollars raised to support various good causes.
In celebration of BlizzCon this year, Blizzard has taken their charitable efforts to a new level by hosting an online charity auction. This auction allows fans to bid on numerous pieces of signed artwork and other valuable items that would make great additions to any fan's collection. What's even better is that all the proceeds from this virtual auction will be donated to Direct Relief, an organization that provides healthcare facilities in resource-poor areas with much-needed medicine and supplies in over 100 countries worldwide.

It is a one-of-a-kind prototype created by Blizzard Senior Sculptor Brian Fay for the real-life statue that commemorated the first 1,000 players to reach level 100 in Hardcore mode in Diablo 4.
