After 12 seconds or reaching 40 stacks, the mark explodes, dealing damage per stack. If your target dies or explodes below 35% health and there are no other enemies to travel to, the mark travels to an unmarked enemy nearby.

• Wave of Souls

As a Deathbringer, Reaper's Mark can unleash a dark wave towards your target and back, dealing Shadowfrost damage to all enemies caught in its path. Critical strikes from Wave of Souls cause enemies to take increased Shadowfrost damage for a limited time.

• Blood Fever

With Blood Fever, your Blood Plague has a chance to deal increased damage as Shadowfrost.

• Bind in Darkness

Bind in Darkness enhances your Shadowfrost abilities. Shadowfrost damage applies double stacks to Reaper's Mark, and quadruple stacks when it is a critical strike. Additionally, empowered Frost or Blood abilities deal Shadowfrost damage.

• Shuddering Soul

When Reaper's Mark explodes, it causes a piece of the target's soul to tear out and spiral outwards, dealing damage to enemies. Enemies hit by this effect also deal reduced physical damage to you for a limited time.

• Grim Reaper

Grim Reaper enhances Reaper's Mark, causing the explosion to deal increased damage based on the target's missing health. It also applies Soul Reaper to targets below a certain health threshold.

• Death's Bargain

When you suffer a damaging effect equal to a percentage of your maximum health, you instantly cast Death Pact at a reduced effectiveness. This effect can only occur every few minutes. Additionally, when a Reaper's Mark explodes, the cooldowns of Death Pact and this effect are reduced.

• Rune Carved Plates

Each Rune spent reduces the magic damage you take, and each Rune generated reduces the physical damage you take for a limited time.

• Swift End

Swift End reduces the cost and cooldown of Reaper's Mark, making it more efficient in combat.

• Painful Death

Painful Death alters the mechanics of Reaper's Mark, causing it to explode at a certain stack count and increasing the chance of applying the mark with Exterminate.

• Dark Talons

Dark Talons enhances Marrowrend and Heart Strike abilities. Marrowrend has a chance to increase the maximum stacks of Icy Talons, and abilities that spend Runic Power deal Shadowfrost damage while Icy Talons is active.

• Wither Away

With Wither Away, Blood Plague deals increased damage over a shorter duration, and Exterminate applies Blood Plague to targets.

• Death's Messenger

Death's Messenger reduces the cooldowns of Lichborne and Raise Dead abilities.

• Expelling Shield

Expelling Shield reduces the cast speed of enemies who deal direct damage to your Anti-Magic Shell.

• Exterminate

With Exterminate, your next Marrowrend costs no Rune and summons scythes to strike your enemies. This ability deals physical damage to your target and Shadowfrost damage to enemies around your target.
