Class and Tier Set Adjustments Discovered in Patch 10.2 PTR Build 51601

Hey there gamers! Today, we have some exciting updates on the latest Patch 10.2 PTR for World of Warcraft. We've managed to datamine some class and tier set tuning changes that will surely impact your gameplay. Let's dive right into the details!

Class Changes

  • Havoc Demon Hunter

  • Immolation Aura now has 1 additional charge and has a 30% chance to refund a charge when used.
  • Mastery: Demonic Presence now causes your Arcane, Fire, Frost, Nature, and Shadow damage to be dealt as Chaos instead, and increases that damage by 11.2%.
  • Each time you deal Chaos damage, there is a 7.77% chance to duplicate 33% of the damage, up to a maximum of 7 times.
  • Chaos Strike has a 10% chance to trigger a second Chaos Strike.

  • Vengeance Demon Hunter

  • Shear has a chance to reset the cooldown of Felblade.
  • Shear now generates 40 Fury.

Tier Set Changes

  • Screaming Torchfiend's Brutality (2 pieces)

The tier set bonus for Havoc Demon Hunter has been adjusted. Now, Throw Glaive reduces the remaining cooldown of The Hunt by 0.4 seconds, and The Hunt's damage over time effect lasts 46 seconds longer.

  • Benevolent Embersage's Guidance (4 pieces)

The tier set bonus for Havoc Demon Hunter has been updated. Now, 20% of the damage and healing and 100% of the armor you gain during Rage of the Sleeper fuel the growth of Dream Thorns. After Rage of the Sleeper expires, Dream Thorns protect you by absorbing 25% of damage dealt, up to a certain amount of damage based on the Rage spent.

  • Lucid Shadewalker's Silence (4 pieces)

The tier set bonus for Subtlety Rogue has been modified. Rolling Bones now refreshes a random Roll the Bones combat enhancement buff you currently possess for 40 seconds.

  • Blessings of Lunar Communion (2 & 4 pieces)

The tier set bonus for Shadow Priests has been tweaked. Each time you take damage from Shadow Word: Death, you gain a stack of Death's Torment. This increases the initial damage of your next cast of Shadow Word: Pain by 250% and increases the damage of your next Shadow Crash by 50%. Stacks can accumulate up to 12 times.

  • Devout Ashdevil's Pactweave (2 & 4 pieces)

The tier set bonus for Warlocks has been adjusted. Spending Rage now has a chance to cause your next Shield Slam to consume your bleeds on a target, instantly dealing the remaining damage of your Deep Wounds, Rend, and Thunderous Roar. Additionally, your damage taken is reduced by 10% for 5 seconds.
