March 05, 2024 6 minutes

Hey there, fellow adventurers! Welcome to WowCarry's blog post where we delve into some tips and tricks for the Legendary questline in World of Warcraft. If you've been keeping up with the game, you might have heard about the recent bad luck protection hotfix from Blizzard. Additionally, some datamining indicates a 100% drop rate on Fyr'alath for players who have defeated Fyrakk each week on Heroic difficulty. Now, let's get into the details and uncover how you can make the most out of this questline!

Fyr'alath Pity Week

Already on Week 13 of the Legendary becoming available? According to the datamining, this is the earliest week that Heroic raiders can get Fyr'alath the Dreamrender guaranteed on their kill. So, if you're on this questline, it's time to focus on completing the important parts. Keep reading for some handy tips and tricks!

Emerald Dream Objectives

  • Handling It: Radiant Fleck of Ash

Ashis the objective that might seem like a time sink. To complete this quest, use the Ashen Dowsing Rod on an Epic piece of gear every 5 minutes. Don't worry if you don't have any raid or Mythic+ gear lying around. You can buy the reputation vendor gear from Moon Priestess Lasara who can be found in Dragon Isles. Just trade in some Dragon Isles Supplies, and you're good to go!

Tip #1: Purchase reputation vendor gear from Moon Priestess Lasara to complete the Handling It: Radiant Fleck of Ash quest.

While there are ways to skip the 5-minute timer, keep in mind that this quest isn't the limiting factor in creating the Legendary. So, there's no need to rush through it.

  • Killing Emerald Dream Rares

Taut Tethercoilis another objective for which you might be looking for some guidance. The good news is that it's likely not the limiting factor for the quest, as you can farm this faster than the Superblooms objective. Here are a few important things to note:

  • Rares can be killed multiple times a day.
  • The Tether must be applied while you are out of combat and cannot break.
  • The final boss of the Superbloom counts as a rare, as well as the Lasher in the Emerald Frenzy.

To efficiently farm this objective, focus on the Lasher in the Emerald Frenzy between Superblooms. During Superblooms, make sure to Tether the final boss. In the Emerald Frenzy, kill mobs until the Rare spawns, Tether and kill, then repeat. If you're playing during popular hours, keep an eye out for farming groups in the Looking for Group (LFG) tool. Joining a group can greatly speed up the process!

Tip #2: Farm the Emerald Frenzies for consistent Rares. Check the LFG tool for any available farming groups you can join!

  • Superblooms

Shadowed Dreamleafis the objective that often takes the longest to complete, especially if you don't have any help. You'll need to collect 200 Shadowed Dreamleaf, which can drop from bags obtained during the Superbloom event (Sprouting Dreamtrove, Budding Dreamtrove, Blossoming Dreamtrove) and from the final boss. Joining a Superbloom group in the LFG tool can make this objective much easier.

Tip #3: Join a Superbloom group in the LFG tool a few minutes before the Superbloom starts. These groups usually consist of a raid of 40 players and can guarantee a full bar.

It's important to note that Superblooms don't finish at the same time in all phases due to the varying speed at which each phase finishes the Defense objective. By joining a 40-player group, you'll ensure that you're on a Shard that finishes faster than others. Once your Shard completes the Superbloom and you've looted the boss (remember to Tether!), leave the group and search for another Superbloom group in the LFG tool. This should phase you onto another Shard with the boss still up, allowing you to get bonus drops from the boss. You might even be able to triple dip if everything goes smoothly!

Tip #4: After completing a Superbloom in one phase, search in the LFG tool for another Superbloom group in another phase.

Additionally, you can speed up your Superbloom progress with aTattered Dreamleaf. This item has a random chance to drop from any bag or from the final boss. Don't use this item randomly; save it for someone who has agreed to help you. When you use it, both you and your target will receive a one-time quest. If your friend has already completed this quest for someone else, they won't be able to do it again. To complete the quest, open all three bags from a Superbloom and loot the final boss. Once the quest is turned in, you or your friend will receive aRestored Dreamleaf, which can be used to increase the drop rate of Shadowed Dreamleaf by 50%. It's important to note that Shadowed Dreamleaf doesn't work across factions in the open world.

Tip #5: Whenever aTattered Dreamleafdrops, find a friend and convince them to do a Superbloom with you. The rewards will be worth it!

If you're lucky, you might find players who have completed Fyr'alath the Dreamrender before and have some extraTattered Dreamleafsitting around. They may be able to jump-start your progress by casting it on you. Additionally, don't hesitate to reach out to other Legendary holders and ask if they have any extraTattered Dreamleafthat you can use. Remember, you can only complete the quest once, so you'll need another friend's character to do a Superbloom with.

After the Emerald Dream Objectives

  • To The Test: Concentrated Sophic Vellum

After placing a crafting order, you'll need to complete the second part,To The Test: Concentrated Sophic Vellum. The recommended approach is to seek help from friends. Head over to the Proving Grounds and bring along 50-100 of each: Awakened Fire, Awakened Earth, Awakened Air, and Awakened Frost. The more you bring, the faster it will be, as the specific element you need is chosen randomly.

  1. Start any Proving Grounds Event.
  2. Use Shalasar's Sophic Vellum.
  3. End the Proving Ground Event mid-channel.
  4. Use your Extra Action Button to consume 10 of the current Awakened Element.
  5. Use your Extra Action Button again to gain 5% progress on the Bar.
  6. Repeat Steps 1-5 until the quest is complete.

Tip #7: Utilize the Proving Grounds to skip the 5-minute cooldown on the Shalasar's Sophic Vellum item.

  • To the Test: Rune of Shadowbinding

You can completeTo the Test: Rune of Shadowbindingon any difficulty, including LFR. Just make sure to activate the Tether before the boss is pulled.

Tip #8: Use your Tether outside of combat on the Raid Boss. It will not activate combat.

  • To the Test: Symbiotic Glowspore Grip

Previously, you needed to find a healer to assist you in completingTo the Test: Symbiotic Glowspore Grip. However, with the release of Follower Dungeons in Patch 10.2.5, you can now rely on these dungeons instead. Simply queue for any follower dungeon and use Erden's Symbiotic Glowspore Grip. Let the healer in the dungeon take care of healing you while you're stunned.

Tip #9: Queue for a Follower Dungeon to have a healer guide you through this quest.

That wraps up our tips and tricks for the Legendary questline. We hope you find these insights helpful in your journey to obtain Fyr'alath the Dreamrender. May your adventures be filled with epic loot and exciting encounters! Happy gaming!
