Dragonflight Patch 10.2 Update: Hotfixes on November 9th

Blizzard has recently released Patch 10.2 hotfixes with several updates and fixes for the game. In today's hotfixes, which were posted on November 9, 2023, there are various changes for classes, items, professions, reputation, and user interface.

Classes

There was a bug that caused the talent frame to display the incorrect number of points on talents when players tried to refund talent points for the Priest, Demon Hunter, and Rogue classes. This issue has been fixed, ensuring that players can properly allocate their talent points without any confusion.

Druid - Guardian

A problem was identified where the Blood Frenzy ability for Guardian Druids was not benefiting from Haste or Cycle of Life and Death. This issue has been resolved, and now the ability will properly take into account these effects, boosting the overall performance of Guardian Druids in combat.

Priest - Discipline

Ultimate Penitence, a powerful ability for Discipline Priests, previously had a bug where it would display an error message stating "You are unable to move" when casting the spell. This error message will no longer appear, and instead, Ultimate Penitence will now clear any root effects on the Priest, allowing them to freely move without any hindrance.

Items

The Paracausal Fragment of Thunderfin and the Humid Blade of the Tideseeker had an issue where the trinket effect was not functioning properly. This problem has been addressed, and players can now experience the intended effects of these items as designed.

In addition, the Sarannis’ Mystic Sheen absorb has been reduced by 68%, balancing the item's power. Furthermore, the cloak now provides primary stats, adding to the overall value and usefulness of the item.

Professions

• Alchemy

Players can now place crafting orders for Mark of the Auric Dreamstag, a highly sought-after item in Alchemy. This allows Alchemists to continue their progress and create valuable potions and elixirs to aid them in their adventures.

• Jewelcrafting

For Jewelcrafters, there is a positive change where Cataclysm Jewelcrafting figurines will now drop for all classes. This update assists players in completing the Fantastic Figurines achievement, encouraging exploration and engagement with the Jewelcrafting profession.

Reputation

The Dream Wardens reputation, acquired through contributions of Emerald Dewdrops during the Emerald Bounty event, now provides a significant amount of reputation with the first five contributions each week. This change rewards players for their efforts and dedication to the Dream Wardens faction, allowing for faster progression and access to exclusive rewards.

User Interface

In terms of the user interface, the Quest Journal has been updated to correctly display the Emerald Dream portal located in the Emerald Conclave within the Valdrakken area. This improvement aids players in navigating the game world and accessing important quests and content within the Emerald Dream.

Wrath of the Lich King Classic

Lastly, there was a fix related to the speed of flying mounts in Outland. Previously, 310% mounts were not flying at the correct speed, causing players to move slower than intended. With this hotfix, the speed of 310% mounts in Outland has been adjusted, ensuring that players can enjoy the benefits of their fast-flying mounts while exploring this iconic location.
