March 12th Game Updates - Class Tuning and Mythic+ Fixes

Blizzard has recently released hotfix notes for the PvE and PvP class tuning updates. These updates include buffs for Restoration Druids, Preservation Evokers, and Frost Mages in PvE, while also addressing nerfs for Havoc Demon Hunters in PvP. Additionally, the hotfixes also tackle two previously unannounced bug fixes for Mythic+ dungeons. Let's dive into the details of these changes!

Druid

Restoration

  • Rejuvenation healing has been increased by 12%.

Preservation Evoker

  • Time of Need clone's overall healing has been increased by 100%, while the Living Flame healing has been increased by 16%.
  • Live-Giver's Flame now heals for 40/80% of damage done (up from 35/70%).
  • Inherent Resistance now reduces magic damage taken by 4/8% (up from 2/4%) for Preservation Evokers.
  • Attuned to the Dream now increases healing done and received by 3/6% (up from 2/4%) for Preservation Evokers.

Hunter

Marksmanship

  • All damage dealt by the hunter and their pets' abilities has been increased by 3%.

Survival

  • All damage dealt by the hunter and their pets' abilities has been increased by 3%.

Mage

Frost

  • Flurry damage has been increased by 25%.
  • Waterbolt and Water Jet damage increased by 25%.
  • Frostbolt damage increased by 10%.
  • Ice Lance damage increased by 5%.

Monk

Mistweaver

  • All healing has been reduced by 6% (excluding PvP combat).
  • Sheilun's Gift healing has been increased by 6%.
  • Jadefire Stomp healing and damage has been increased by 6%.
  • Expel Harm healing has been increased by 6%.

Rogue

Subtlety

  • Eviscerate damage has been reduced by 6% (excluding PvP combat).

Shaman

Elemental

  • All damage has been increased by 3% (excluding PvP combat).

Dungeons

Black Rook Hold

  • An issue where Amalgam of Souls triggered 2 soul bursts simultaneously if the last Restless Soul was absorbed at 15% Health has been addressed.

Dawn of the Infinite: Galakrond's Fall

  • An issue with the Blight of Galakrond encounter, where the Blight Seep left behind by a previous enemy would stop inflicting damage when the enemy was no longer in combat, has been resolved.

Player versus Player

Several adjustments and bug fixes were also made in the PvP aspect of the game:

Demon Hunter

Havoc

  • Demon Hide (talent) now provides a 3% physical damage reduction (down from 5%).
  • Scars of Suffering (talent) now grants a 2% Versatility bonus (down from 4%).
  • Illidari Knowledge (talent) now offers a 3% magic damage reduction (down from 5%).
  • Will of the Illidari (talent) now provides a 3% maximum health bonus (down from 5%).
  • Essence Break (talent) now grants a 40% damage bonus for Chaos Strike/Blade Dance (down from 50%).
  • An issue with the Throw Glaive cast by Screaming Torchfiend's Brutality (2-piece) has also been resolved.

Druid

Various adjustments have been made specifically for Druids in PvP:

Adaptive Swarm:

  • Casting this ability is now disabled during arena or battleground preparation.

Other bug fixes include:

Feral

  • Frenzied Regeneration is no longer reduced by 37.5% for Feral and Balance Druids in PvP combat.
  • Wild Attunement no longer activates when Cyclone is cast on an immune target.

Restoration

  • A bug causing Reforestation stacks to persist past the starting room in PvP instances has been fixed.
  • Reactive Resin no longer applies to Restoration Druids if their heal over time effects were dispelled after being spell stolen.

Hunter

Beast Mastery

  • Kill Shot damage has been increased by 25% in PvP (up from 10%).

Survival

  • Raptor Strike damage has been increased by 5% in PvP (down from 11% reduction).
  • Mongoose Bite damage has been increased by 5% in PvP (down from 11% reduction).

Mage

Ring of Fire (PvP Talent)

  • The damage dealt by Ring of Fire now deals 18% of its target's health over 6 seconds (down from 24%).

Arcane

  • Prismatic Barrier now reduces magic damage taken by 10% (down from 15%) and reduces the duration of incoming magic effects by 15% (down from 25%) in PvP combat.

Fire

  • Fevered Incantation now increases Critical Strike damage by 1% (down from 2%) per stack in PvP combat.
  • Meteor's damage has been increased by 30% (up from 11%) in PvP combat.
  • Fireball's damage has been increased by 35% (up from 18%) in PvP combat.
  • Scorch damage has been increased by 300% (up from 200%) in PvP combat.
  • Fire Blast damage is now reduced by 8% (down from 14%) in PvP combat.
  • Living Bomb damage has been increased by 800% (up from 440%) in PvP combat.

Monk

Mistweaver

  • Vivify healing has been decreased by 10% (down from 20%) in PvP combat.
  • Invigorating Mist healing has been increased by 12% in PvP combat.
  • Soothing Mist healing has been increased by 15% in PvP combat.
  • Soothing Mist (Jade Serpent Statue) healing has been increased by 15% in PvP combat.

Paladin

Holy

  • Denounce (PvP talent) damage has been increased by 70%.
  • Judgment damage has been increased by 50% in PvP combat.
  • Greater Judgment absorb has been increased by 30% in PvP combat.

Priest

Discipline

  • Smite damage has been increased by 25% in PvP combat.
  • Atonement healing has been increased by 8% in PvP combat.

Rogue

Outlaw

  • Float Like a Butterfly (talent) effectiveness is now reduced by 50% in PvP combat.
  • Precision Shot (talent) damage reduction is now 3% (down from 5%) in PvP combat.
  • Take Your Cut (PvP talent) now grants a reduced haste of 10% (down from 15%), with a reduced duration of 10 seconds (down from 12 seconds).

Shaman

Enhancement

  • Healing Surge healing is now increased by 25% in PvP combat.

Warlock

Soulburn: Demonic Circle

  • The duration of Soulburn: Demonic Circle has been reduced to 4 seconds in PvP combat (down from 6 seconds).
  • The movement speed bonus of Soulburn: Demonic Circle has been reduced to 30% in PvP combat (down from 50%).
  • Call Observer health has been reduced to 6% of the Warlock's health (down from 8%), and Laserbeam damage has been reduced to 8% of the enemy's health (down from 10%).

Destruction

  • Flame Rift damage from the Amirdrassil 4-piece set bonus is now reduced by 30% in PvP combat.

Warrior

Cacophonous Roar

  • The damage threshold of Cacophonous Roar has been increased by 100% (up from 200%) in PvP combat.

Arms

  • Execute damage has been increased by 25% in PvP combat (up from 15%).

Fury

  • Execute damage has been increased by 65% in PvP combat (up from 50%).
