Hey there, fellow gamers! We've got some exciting news to share with you today. Blizzard has just announced some significant tweaks to popular embellishments in Patch 10.2 PTR. So, let's dive right in and explore what these changes mean for you!

Items

  • Great Vault

First up, we have an update to the Great Vault. You'll notice that the "Mythic Dungeons" row has been renamed to simply "Dungeons." But that's not all! Now, when you complete Heroic, Mythic 0, and Timewalking dungeon runs, you'll unlock rewards in the Dungeons row. These rewards will come from the same pool as Mythic+, but with slightly lower item levels. It's a great way to earn some cool loot while exploring various dungeons!

  • Professions

Let's talk about professions now. Blizzard has made some adjustments to the damage and healing values of several embellishments, reducing them by 35%. Here's a list of the affected items:

  • Frostfire Belt;
  • Fang Adornments;
  • Slimy Expulsion Boots;
  • Toxic Thorn Footwraps;
  • Acidic Hailstone Treads;
  • Magazine of Healing Darts;
  • Playful Spirit's Fur set;
  • Shadowflame-Tempered Armor Patch;
  • Spore Colony Shoulderguards.

Additionally, the damage of Amice of the Blue has been reduced by 30%, while the self-damage of Shadowflame-Tempered Armor Patch has been increased by 33%. On the healing side, Dreamwalker's Healing Potion and Potion of Withering Dreams now provide 19% more healing. These changes aim to balance the gameplay experience and ensure a fair and enjoyable environment for all players.

Player Versus Player

Blizzard has also made some adjustments specifically for PvP combat. Take a look at the following changes:

  • Items

  • Tainted Rageheart: The absorb effect has been reduced by 50% in PvP combat;
  • Nimue’s Vengeful Loom: The on-use effect has been reduced by 70% in PvP combat;
  • Augury of the Primal Flame: The effectiveness of Annihilating Flame proc has been reduced by 60% in PvP combat;
  • Belor'relos, the Sunstone: The on-use effect has been reduced by 75% in PvP combat;
  • Bandolier of Twisted Blades: The on-use effect damage has been reduced by 60% in PvP combat;
  • Flourishing Dream Helm: Absorption effects have been reduced by 50% in PvP combat;

  • Gholak, the Final Conflagration: Damage has been reduced by 75% in PvP combat;
  • Thorncaller Claw: The damage over time effect has been reduced by 60% in PvP combat;
  • Dreambinder, Loom of the Great Cycle: Damage and slow amount have been reduced by 50% in PvP combat. Please note that immobilization effects will not work against enemy players;
  • Ouroboreal Necklet: Absorption has been reduced by 70% in PvP combat;
  • Incandescent Essence: Enchantment effects have been reduced by 70% in PvP combat.

These adjustments aim to enhance the fairness and balance of PvP battles, ensuring a more competitive and strategic experience for players.

  • User Interface and Accessibility

Lastly, Blizzard has made a small quality-of-life improvement to the Auction House. Items with long names will now always display their crafted quality icon instead of being cut off. This change makes it easier for players to identify and understand the items they're browsing in the Auction House.

Final Thoughts

And there you have it! Blizzard's latest update brings some exciting changes to popular embellishments, PvP combat, and the Auction House interface. These adjustments aim to improve the overall gaming experience, ensuring fair gameplay and accessible features for all players. Stay tuned for more updates, and happy gaming!
