Hey there fellow adventurers! If you're a fan of the exhilarating Dragonriding races in the magical world of Azeroth, then you're in for a treat. Patch 10.2 has just introduced four brand new cups to the list of thrilling world events. So, fasten your seatbelts, because we're about to embark on an epic ride through Outland, Northrend, Pandaria, and the Broken Isles!

New Cups Galore!

This latest patch brings a total of four exciting additions to the world of Dragonriding races, each one set in a different expansion:

  • Outland Cup
  • Northrend Cup
  • Pandaria Cup
  • Broken Isles Cup

Each cup promises a thrilling and adrenaline-filled experience for players as they traverse the unique landscapes of these expansions, utilizing their dragon-riding skills to come out on top.

We know you're eager to mark your calendars for these epic events, and although these dates are subject to change, Blizzard has provided us with tentative schedules for each cup:

Cup Dates
Outland Cup January 11th - January 25th, 2024
Northrend Cup April 11th - April 25th, 2024
Pandaria Cup July 11th - July 25th, 2024
Broken Isles Cup October 11th - October 25th, 2024

Keep in mind that these dates are not set in stone, but they should give you a good idea of when to expect these heart-pounding races to take place.

It seems that Blizzard intends to host a Dragonriding racing cup every three months, with the first cup, the Kalimdor Cup, having taken place in August. The second cup, the Eastern Kingdoms Cup, is scheduled for next month, in October, three months before the first 10.2 cup, the Outland Cup.

Event Rotation

For those unfortunate souls who missed out on the excitement of the Kalimdor Cup, fear not! Blizzard has included a tentative date for its return in this PTR build. Although the date is likely to change, it gives players an indication that cups may repeat approximately once every two years. So mark your calendars for the potential return of the Kalimdor Cup on January 9th - 23rd... 2025!

Final Thoughts

The addition of these new cups to the Dragonriding race events brings a whole new level of excitement to the world of Azeroth. As we eagerly anticipate the upcoming Eastern Kingdoms Cup and the subsequent cups in Patch 10.2, let's make sure our dragon saddles are polished and our flying skills are honed to perfection. Get ready to take flight and claim victory in these remarkable races!
