Hello everyone! Welcome to another exciting blog post by WowCarry. Today, we will be discussing the latest developments in Patch 10.2.5 PTR, which includes some interesting changes for Mistweaver Monks, an increased Dragonriding speed, and updates to Bel'ameth. Let's dive in and explore these changes in more detail!

Mistweaver Monk Changes

  • Ancient Teachings

One of the changes for Mistweaver Monks is the Ancient Teachings talent. It now additionally increases Stamina by 5% while active. This is a small but significant buff for Mistweaver Monks, enhancing their survivability in battles.

  • Teachings of the Monastery

Another talent, Teachings of the Monastery, has also received an update. It now highlights Blackout Kick on the action bar when it reaches max stacks. This quality-of-life improvement will make it easier for Mistweaver Monks to keep track of their abilities during combat.

  • Thunder Focus Tea

Thunder Focus Tea, a key ability for Mistweaver Monks, now has additional functionality with Expel Harm. It causes Expel Harm to transfer 25% more healing to damage and creates a Chi Cocoon on yourself. This adds another layer of versatility and strategic decision-making to Mistweaver gameplay.

  • Tea of Plenty

The Tea of Plenty talent has undergone a change in its potential grants. Instead of granting Essence Font and Renewing Mist, it now has the possibility to grant Expel Harm and Enveloping Mist. This provides Mistweaver Monks with alternative options for managing their healing capabilities.

  • Secret Infusion

The Secret Infusion talent now has additional functionality with Expel Harm, granting Versatility. This empowers Mistweaver Monks with increased damage and healing output, making them more formidable in battles.

  • Name Changes

In addition to these changes, several abilities for Mistweaver Monks have undergone name changes. Faeline Stomp is now Jadefire Stomp, and Awakened Faeline is now Awakened Jadefire. These name changes add a fresh flavor to the gameplay experience.

Dragonriding Speed Increase

Outside of the Dragon Isles, the speed of Dragonriding mounts has been increased to 85% of their maximum speeds, up from 80%. This change allows players to traverse the world more swiftly while mounted on a dragon, adding a new level of excitement and efficiency to their adventures.

Bel'ameth Updates

Bel'ameth, a new hub for Night Elves, is now seeing an influx of settlers. Many Night Elves are starting to arrive in Bel'ameth and its harbor, Belanaar, to settle in their new homes. Additionally, players can explore other areas across the island to discover new night elf cosmetic treasures. This expansion of content provides a fresh and immersive experience for Night Elf players.

Azerothian Archives

Azerothian Archives, a testable scenario, "The Big Dig: Traitor's Rest", is now available for testing. Players can dive into this exciting scenario and uncover the mysteries it holds. Get ready for an adventure filled with intrigue and excitement!

Player versus Player Changes

  • Shaman Enhancement

In PvP combat, Lightning Bolts and Chain Lightnings triggered by Thorim's Invocation now deal 30% reduced damage. The reduction in burst damage focuses on spells triggered during Ascendance, ensuring a more balanced PvP experience for all players. On the other hand, Thorim's Invocation increases the damage of Lightning Bolt and Chain Lightning by 20% in PvP combat, providing Enhancement Shamans with a boost in their offensive capabilities.

  • Warrior Fury

The Slaughterhouse PvP Talent has undergone a change. It now triggers off of Odyn's Fury, Onslaught, and Rampage damage. This expanded trigger range empowers Fury Warriors to deal more damage in PvP encounters.

User Interface and Accessibility

The Trading Post catalogue now has an improved user interface. It displays a comprehensive list of all items included in a bundle. Each item is a clickable button that allows players to preview it on their character. This enhancement makes it easier for players to make informed decisions when it comes to purchasing bundles. Additionally, multiple items can now be selected and previewed together if they occupy different slots, giving players a convenient way to see how different items complement each other.
