February 09, 2024 3 minutes

Hey there, fellow gamers! Today we have some exciting hotfixes from Blizzard to share with you. So grab your weapons and get ready for some thrilling adventures! In this post, we will be discussing the latest changes and bug fixes in the game, including adjustments to the Support Your Local Artisans achievement, Shaman spells, and various dungeon and raid fixes. Let's dive right in!

Support Your Local Artisans Achievement Adjusted

First up, we have an adjustment to the Support Your Local Artisans achievement. Previously, players were required to make donations totaling 70,000 gold to the Artisan’s Consortium. However, Blizzard has now reduced the requirement to 50,000 gold. This change will make it easier for players to complete the achievement and show their support for local artists within the game.

Shaman Spell Fixes

Next, let's talk about some much-needed fixes for Shaman spells. Blizzard has resolved an issue that was causing Earth Shield casts from another Shaman to override Earth Shield. This bug was causing frustration among Shaman players, but fear not, as the issue has now been fixed. Your Earth Shield will no longer be overridden by other Shaman casts, allowing you to focus on protecting yourself and your allies.

Dungeon and Raid Fixes

  • Darkheart Thicket

In Darkheart Thicket, an issue has been addressed where Archdruid Glaidalis can fail to use Grievous Leap on a player standing on top of a nearby object. Additionally, Blizzard has fixed a bug in Archdruid Glaidalis's encounter where Nightmare Abominations were getting stuck in a state of evasion when spawned on an elevated surface. These fixes will ensure a smoother and more enjoyable dungeon experience for players.

  • Dawn of the Infinite: Galakrond’s Fall

In the Dawn of the Infinite: Galakrond’s Fall raid, a few issues have been resolved. First, there was a bug where Dazhak’s Incinerating Blightbreath could fizzle if the targeted player died during Dazhak’s charge. Blizzard has fixed this issue, ensuring that the ability will always be properly executed. Additionally, Chronofade is now considered an AoE effect, providing better consistency in the raid mechanics. These fixes will make the raid encounters more challenging and fair for all players.

  • The Everbloom

In The Everbloom dungeon, an issue with the Ancient Protectors encounter has been addressed. Previously, Dulhu’s Noxious Charge could still go off, even if he died while casting the ability. Blizzard has fixed this bug, and now Dulhu will no longer be able to unleash his charge if he is defeated mid-cast. This fix will make the encounter more balanced and prevent any unfair wipes for players.

PvP Fixes

  • Priest - Shadow

Priest Shadow players, rejoice! Blizzard has resolved an issue that was causing the Shadow Amirdrassil 4-set bonus to not be consumed when landing a killing blow on some pets and totems. With this fix, your set bonus will now work as intended, providing you with the full benefits for your pet and totem slaying adventures.

  • Shaman

For Shaman players, there are a couple of fixes to mention. First, an issue causing some spells to kill Grounding Totem without directly targeting the totem has been resolved. This fix ensures that your spells will now only affect the intended targets and not unintentionally destroy Grounding Totem. Additionally, redirected damage over time effects will no longer apply to Grounding Totem, as it is once again immune to debuff effects. These fixes will improve the overall gameplay experience for Shaman players in PvP battles.

And that's it for today's hotfixes, folks! We hope you find these changes and bug fixes beneficial for your in-game adventures. Stay tuned for more updates and happy gaming!
