Our Story Begins
In a captivating cinematic reveal, the expansion introduces Thrall and Anduin Wrynn, who share a poignant moment. Anduin has spent the past few years lost and contemplative, struggling with his experiences. Thrall speaks of a vision from the heart of the world, a Radiant Song that compels our heroes to investigate its origins. At the same time, a darkness has been gathering, and Xal'atath, the Harbinger, has returned. Freed from her black blade, she seeks to set in motion the rise of a new dark legacy, one that will test the heroes against a terrifying power - the nerubians of Azj-Kahet.
Our Heroes
Several of Azeroth's greatest heroes will rise to the call of the Radiant Song, each with their own unique challenges. Anduin Wrynn, having survived his ordeal with Domination, grapples with his relationship with the Holy Light. Thrall seeks a connection to the spreading visions and works to find his place within the Horde. Magni Bronzebeard confronts the weight of his responsibility as the Speaker of Azeroth. Alleria Windrunner, a void hunter, must hunt down Xal'atath while torn between her own nature and the call of the Void.
Khaz Algar - Designated Sector AR-934
As the heroes are called upon by dream-like visions, they are led to the subterranean continent of Khaz Algar, which has long been forgotten. The heroes discover the society of Earthen, guided by the Titans' edicts but now estranged and divided into Oathsworn, Unbound, and Machine Speakers. The heroes must aid the Earthen, unite them, and help replenish their dwindling numbers. In this expansion, Earthen will also be unlocked as a playable race, allowing players to choose between joining the Horde or the Alliance. Prepare your characters for the new expansion to greet it armed to the teeth, ready to protect Azeroth.
