October's Easiest Trading Post Challenges

Several activities this month can easily generate a lot of points quickly. Some of these are event-related, so make sure to check if the event is still running. Let's dive into the easiest challenges:

• 400 Points with Dreamsurges

Earning 400 points is a breeze with Dreamsurges, which are also excellent for speed-gearing alts. Here's how you can earn these points:

1. Collect 100 & 250 Dreamsurge Coalescence - 100 & 150 Points for a total of 250 Points

To collect Dreamsurge Coalescence, the easiest way is to complete Waking Dreams and kill Rare Elites empowered by the Dreamsurge. If any of your characters already have 250+ Dreamsurge Coalescence in their bags, simply logging into them will complete this task.

2. Defeat Rare Elites Empowered by the Dreamsurge - 100 Points

This task requires defeating 10 Rare Elites. You can use addons like Silverdragon or Raretracker to track rares or join rare-farming groups to make it easier.

3. Complete 3 Waking Dreams - 50 Points

Waking Dream portals spawn every half-hour, and smaller portals can also be found scattered around the zone. If you're up for a challenge, completing 15 Waking Dreams will grant an extra 150 Points!

• 300 Points with World Quests

Completing World Quests can earn you 300 points in the Traveler's log. Here's how you can maximize your progress:

1. Complete 5 & 10 World Quests - 50 & 50 Points for a total of 100 Points

To make this even more rewarding, focus on completing gold World Quests in a Dreamsurge zone while Dreamsurge Magpies are active. Completing 25 World Quests will also reward an additional 100 Points.

2. Complete 10 Quests - 100 Points

World quests count towards this task as well, so just keep doing what you did for the previous challenge. Completing 25 and 50 Quests will each reward an additional 100 Points.

• 300 Points with Brewfest

If you're still in the mood for Brewfest, you can easily earn 200 points while the event is active. Here are the tasks you can complete:

1. Participate in a Chowdown - 50 Points

The Chowdown mini-game takes place in a booth near the Brewfest Camp. Show off your eating skills by competing with other players to devour sausages quickly.

2. Earn 100 Brewfest Prize Tokens - 100 Points

Even halfway through the event, collecting 100 tokens is a piece of cake. If you want more challenging tasks, aim for 300 tokens to earn another 100 Points, or go all out and collect 600 tokens for a 200 Point reward.

3. Kill Coren Direbrew - 150 Points

Don't miss the opportunity to face Coren Direbrew using the Dungeon Finder tool during Brewfest. Defeating Coren Direbrew will grant you 150 Points towards your Traveler's log progress.

• 250 Points with the Darkmoon Faire

The Darkmoon Faire is running this week, and there are several easy tasks available at the Trading Post. Here's what you can do:

1. Enjoy a Ride - 50 Points

Simply hop on the Darkmoon Faire carousel or rollercoaster on Darkmoon Faire Island to fulfill this task.

2. Complete It's Hammer Time - 50 Points

While the Darkmoon Faire is active, complete the quest "It's Hammer Time" by participating in the Whack-A-Gnoll mini-game.

3. Speak with a Restless Spirit - 50 Points

Darkmoon Island is haunted by several restless spirits. Spot them by looking for glittering patches with moving blue-green clouds. To interact with them, you must die on the island and approach them as a ghost.

4. Wear a Fish Head to the Dungeons - 100 Points

Fishing up the Severed Crimsonscale Head and Severed Azurefin Head on Darkmoon Island will allow you to wear them as a disguise. Keep them in your bag for 24 hours, and they will last for one hour after you put them on. Complete a dungeon, including Random Timewalking dungeons, while wearing a fish head to complete this task.

• 450 Points with Miscellaneous Tasks

For those who prefer other alternatives, there are various tasks you can complete for a total of 450 points:

1. /Cackle at a Forsaken player - 50 Points

Emote /cackle at any Forsaken player you encounter to earn the points for this task.

2. Tend to your Farm at Sunsong Ranch - 50 Points

For this task, you need to tend to your Mists of Pandaria farm in Halfhill. If you don't have a farm, don't worry! Simply pick up the quest "A Helping Hand" in Valley of the Four Winds, and follow the short questline until you complete this task.

3. Complete 1 & 5 Time Rifts - 50 & 150 Points for a total of 200 Points

Time Rifts may not be as popular as before, but you can still find people farming them. Use the group finder tool to find a group if you're struggling.

4. Defeat 5 & 20 Raid Bosses - 50 & 100 Points for a total of 150 Points

Although there are no tasks specifically requiring you to defeat 25 Raid Bosses or kill 10 Dragonflight raid bosses this time, these two tasks seem to have combined them. Any raid boss, including those from old raids, counts towards these tasks.
