Stormwind Portals: Glitched and Excessively Spawning - Utilize LFG as an Alliance Character

If you're interested in acquiring all the exclusive cosmetics for the Hearthstone Anniversary event, it is recommended to do so on an Alliance character. This is because the Stormwind Portals in the game are spawning consistently compared to the other portals, making it easier to obtain the desired items.

Exciting Cosmetics and Rewards

The Hearthstone Anniversary event brings forth a plethora of exciting new cosmetics such as the HearthstoneStone of the Hearth, unique transmogrification items, fun toys, and even a new mount called the Compass Rose. These highly sought-after rewards can be obtained by defeating the three Hearthstone bosses that emerge from the portals.

Edit #1: It was initially speculated that this issue might be resolved, but it seems like the Stormwind Portals are still spawning more frequently than others.

The "Bugged" Stormwind Portals

In comparison to the Valdrakken or Orgrimmar Portal spawns, which appear approximately once every hour or every other hour, the Stormwind Portals seem to constantly spawn in random phases. This results in at least one portal being active at all times during certain phases. If you search the group finder while playing as a Horde character, you will likely find the list of available portals to be quite empty. However, when you perform the same search on an Alliance character, the list usually contains some entries and active groups.

If your goal is to collect all the cosmetics and rewards from the Hearthstone Anniversary event without any delays, we recommend logging in to an Alliance character and heading to Stormwind. Once there, search for groups in the "Looking for Group" tool using keywords such as "Stormwind Portal." By joining these groups, you can efficiently farm the bosses and maximize your chances of obtaining the desired loot. Don't forget to tag Dr. Boom to ensure you receive the rewards.

However, it is important to note that many players are also seeking to join these groups for the cosmetics, which often leads to group leaders being inundated with numerous invites immediately after the group is set up. Therefore, be patient and persistent in order to secure a spot.

It is unclear whether the Stormwind Portals are spawning excessively or if the other portals are simply lacking in frequency. Despite this ambiguity, it is recommended to take advantage of the abundant Stormwind Portals if you wish to obtain all the valuable cosmetics and rewards in a timely manner.
