Uncovering Secrets in Patch 10.2

It's been a few weeks since the release of Patch 10.2 in World of Warcraft, and players are still uncovering hidden surprises. Thanks to the dedicated members of the WoW Secret Finding Discord, a hidden Warglaive by the name of Alara'shinu has been discovered in the Emerald Dream. This fel-themed version of the 10.2 World Quest warglaive is not only a unique appearance for collectors but also a fantastic starter weapon for Demon Hunter alts. Let's dive into how you can obtain this powerful weapon and unveil the secrets it holds.

Step 1: Meeting Landeron Felfury

As a Demon Hunter, your journey begins by seeking out Landeron Felfury at the Central Encampment in the Emerald Dream. You'll find him just east of the Dream Wardens barracks. Speak with Landeron, and as a fellow Demon Hunter, he will have special dialogue that triggers the events of this secret.

Landeron Felfury: How do you fare, fellow Demon Hunter?

Player: Not well, I would say.

Landeron Felfury: I never thought I would be standing here. I've only ever heard rumors of the Dream, but never knew its wonders. I turned my back on it. I accepted the fel. I became the very force that sought to destroy it. I betrayed this land. I feel as though at any moment the very wind will hurl me from this place. Back to the temple on the Broken Shores, where I belong.

Step 2: The Broken Shore

Burdened by his past choices, Landeron gives us a hint about the next part of this secret - The Broken Shore. Travel there, specifically to the area where you originally faced Caria Felsoul for the Vengeance artifact back in Legion, the Aldrachi Warblades. This location is just north of the Aalgen Point flight path. Enter the Lost Temple through the cracks, and inside, you will encounter a green circle containing a memory of Landeron Felfury.

Landeron Felfury: What have I done? We always speak of what we have given, but have any of us thought just once about what has been TAKEN? Imagine being so arrogant as to portray our lust for power as selflessness. I feel as if I am going to be sick... I cannot. I cannot think... I must travel to Val'sharah. Perhaps Elune's guidance will lead me to the right path.

Step 3: Temple of Elune

Guided by Landeron's memory, the next destination is Val'sharah, specifically the Temple of Elune. Once inside the temple, you will witness another memory of Landeron. After the memory plays out, a stag will appear carrying his Warlgiave, allowing you to corrupt it and loot Alara'shinu!

Landeron Felfury: What now? I have meditated endlessly. Whatever light Elune may offer to illuminate my path, I will gladly follow! But... her temple offers only silence. Enough. This was a fruitless effort. I am going home. Perhaps some rest will serve me better than waiting for guidance that will never arrive.

Final Thoughts

As a bonus, you can return to the Emerald Dream and share the details of your journey with Landeron. Present him with the warglaive and explain everything that has transpired. Landeron will be astounded but grateful for the insight you have provided. This newfound clarity allows him to continue using his powers in the defense of Azeroth, at least for now. While many questions remain unanswered, you have helped Landeron rediscover his purpose and faith in the future. Thank you, [Player Name]. May your adventures continue to unfold as you shape the destiny of Azeroth!
