Changes to World Buffs in Classic's Season of Discovery Phase 2 - Introducing the Gnomeregan Enhancement
Changes Coming to World Buffs in Season of Discovery Phase 2
As part of the Season of Discovery Phase 2 Preview, World Buffs will be undergoing some changes in the next phase of content. In this blog post, we'll take a closer look at these changes and what they mean for players.
A Look at the Gnomeregan Raid Dungeon
Location: Dun Morogh
Level: 40
Raid Size: 10
Bosses: 6
Much like the famous Black Fathom Deeps in Phase 2, Gnomeregan will be a 10-player raid dungeon consisting of six bosses. However, Gnomeregan will also introduce a brand new world buff for players to obtain. This exciting addition will surely add a new layer of strategy and excitement to the raid.
PvP Updates: Beware The Blood Moon
With the advent of Phase 2 in Season of Discovery, a new PvP event called "The Blood Moon" will be introduced. This event will bring mayhem to Stranglethorn Vale as the Blood Moon shines above the zone, casting an eerie red fog on the area.
The Blood Moon Event Details:
- When: Every 3 Hours
- Duration: 30 minutes
- Where: Stranglethorn Vale
This exciting PvP event will not have an associated world buff. Instead, players will have to rely on their skill and strategy to come out on top.
Ashenvale Updates
In Phase 2, Ashenvale will also see some changes. The weekly quest world buff will now apply to players on a 3-hour timer, just like the new Blood Moon event. However, there is a catch - this world buff will no longer apply to players above level 39. So if you're above that level, make sure to take that into consideration before embarking on your Ashenvale adventures.
Experience Gained in Blackfathom Deeps Raid Dungeon
For those brave enough to take on the challenges of the Blackfathom Deeps raid dungeon, there's good news. Players will now experience an increase in the amount of experience gained within the dungeon when it is cleared. This means that not only will you be tackling tough bosses and earning valuable loot, but you'll also be rewarded with a healthy dose of experience points along the way.
However, it's important to note that the world buff in Blackfathom Deeps raid dungeon will no longer be applicable beyond level 39. So make sure to plan your leveling journey accordingly.
Final Thoughts
As Season of Discovery Phase 2 approaches, it's evident that there are some exciting changes in store for World Buffs. From the new Gnomeregan Raid Dungeon to the intense PvP event of The Blood Moon, players will have plenty of new content to explore and conquer.
Just remember, while the world buffs in Ashenvale and Blackfathom Deeps may have some limitations, the thrill of the adventure and the rewards that await make it all worthwhile. So gear up, gather your allies, and get ready for the Season of Discovery Phase 2!
