April 12, 2024 3 minutes

Greetings, fellow adventurers! We have some exciting news for you today regarding the latest hotfixes in the Season of Discovery. Blizzard has recently released a batch of hotfixes on April 11, 2024, that address various issues and bring about some much-needed balance changes. In this blog post, we will delve into the details of these hotfixes, including Darkmoon Card adjustments, class tweaks, and a fix for Dreamscythe and Weaver in the Pit of Sacrifice.

Darkmoon Card Balancing

Let's start with the Darkmoon Cards. The team at Blizzard has made some adjustments to improve the overall gameplay experience. The proc chance for Darkmoon Card: Overgrowth has been increased to 10% from its previous 5%. This change aims to make the card more impactful and rewarding for players. Additionally, Darkmoon Card: Decay now procs from ranged attacks and abilities, expanding its usability and giving players more options in combat.

Class Tweaks

  • Rogue Changes

Rogues, listen up! Cheap Shot's stun effect can now correctly apply to targets who are under the effects of Goblin Rocket Helmet's Reckless Charge. This fix ensures that players can effectively stun their enemies, even if they are wearing the Goblin Rocket Helmet. Furthermore, Combat Potency and Deadly Brew will no longer proc from Fiery Weapon procs, creating a more balanced gameplay experience.

  • Shaman Improvements

Shamans, rejoice! Rolling Thunder now correctly restores 2% of the Shaman's total mana per Lightning Shield charge released. This change enhances the sustainability of Shamans in prolonged battles and provides them with more mana regeneration options. Additionally, Shamans can now access Rank 4 of Fire Nova (previously known as Fire Nova Totem) when the rune is engraved, giving them a more powerful ability to unleash their fiery wrath upon their enemies.

  • Warlock Enhancements

Warlocks have also received some much-deserved improvements. Unstable Affliction is now affected by Haunt's increase, making it an even more potent spell in their arsenal. Damage over time effects that crit through the Pandemic rune will now be able to activate Dance of the Wicked, providing additional damage and synergy for Warlocks. Furthermore, Felguards summoned by Warlocks will now be given appropriate demon names, further immersing players in the demonic fantasy of the class.

  • Warrior Adjustment

Warriors, we have a quality-of-life change for you. Gladiator Stance will now appear at the end of your stance bar instead of the beginning. This change not only helps in smoothly transitioning between stances but also prevents rearrangement of your stances for the purpose of stance macros. It's a small change, but it will make a big difference in your overall gameplay experience.

Dreamscythe and Weaver Fix

Lastly, Blizzard has fixed an issue in the Sunken Temple that occasionally caused Dreamscythe and Weaver to evade when their target survived falling into the Pit of Sacrifice. This fix ensures that players will no longer face frustrating moments when these bosses evade unexpectedly. Now you can focus on defeating them without any interruptions or surprises.

That wraps up our coverage of the latest hotfixes in the Season of Discovery. We hope these changes enhance your gameplay experience and bring about a more balanced and enjoyable environment. As always, happy adventuring, and may your journeys be filled with excitement and glory!
