The Orb of Soran'uk

Regardless of faction, your journey begins with Doan Karhan in the South Barrens. Doan will task you with a mission to retrieve the Orb of Soran'ruk. To obtain this elusive artifact, you must gather 3 Soran'ruk Fragments and 1 Large Soran'ruk Fragment. The Soran'ruk Fragments can be looted from Twilight Acolytes lurking inside Blackfathom Deeps, while the Large Soran'ruk Fragment can be acquired from Shadowfang Darksouls residing in Shadowfang Keep.

Retrieve the Artifacts

Once you have successfully obtained the necessary fragments, return to Doan Karhan to turn in the quest. After completing the quest, Doan will offer you a follow-up mission called "Rumors Abound." For this quest, you will need to find the Orb of Des and the Bough of Altek. The Orb of Des can be found atop the Tower of the Ilgalar in Redridge Mountains. Exercise caution as you make your ascent, as this location is home to a powerful elite. Similarly, the Bough of Altek awaits atop the Tower of Althalaxx in Darkshore, guarded by another formidable elite. You may need the assistance of a group or carefully manage your pets to distract the elites while you secure the artifacts.

The Conjuring

Once you have retrieved both the Orb of Des and Bough of Altek, return to Doan Karhan in the South Barrens. Doan will present you with the next quest in the chain, titled "The Conjuring." In this step, you will need to collect 10 Blood of the Legion. These precious drops can be obtained by slaying Mannoroc Lashers, Searing Infernals, Felguards, and Legion Hounds in Felfire Canyon, situated in the southeastern part of Ashenvale. When you have gathered the required amount of Blood of the Legion, head to Demon Fall Ridge, just south of Felfire Canyon. In this location, you will find an altar close to the obelisk dedicated to the legendary Grommash Hellscream. Interact with the altar to initiate a summoning ritual. Prepare to face waves of demons that must be vanquished while standing within the summoning circle. Rumor has it that you might need to Drain Soul on the waves of demons to trigger the next stage of the event.

After successfully completing the demonic onslaught, a Mysterious Traveler will emerge from the portal. Speak to the enigmatic figure and accept the quest, also called "Mysterious Traveler." The Traveler will instruct you to report back to Doan Karhan in the South Barrens.

The Final Step: Raszel Ander

Return to the Barrens and hand in the quest to Doan Karhan. As a reward, you will receive the final step of the journey, "Raszel Ander." Upon completing this quest, you will finally unlock the incredible power of Metamorphosis. Congratulations! You are now ready to harness the might of the demon within.
