TSM and Season of Discovery

The start of Season of Discovery has posed some challenges for gold makers, mainly due to the lack of Auction House API and the need for TSM to update for realm selection. However, the TSM team has been working hard to implement a fix.

We are pleased to confirm that TSM now supports Season of Discovery in the addon, and pricing data can be accessed via the TSM Desktop app. You no longer need to select your realm and faction on the TSM website.

Your TSM Desktop app will automatically update itself to version 4.13.0, which will detect the realm and faction you have logged into for Season of Discovery. It will then download the data for that specific realm and faction.

Please note that region data, such as sale rate and sold per day, is not available for Season of Discovery realms. These realms also do not count towards the maximum number of realms you can select on the TSM website. If you encounter any issues or have any questions, please join the TSM Discord server for support.

To ensure that your data is correctly picked up by the TSM app, allow the app to update first and then log in to your Season of Discovery realm. If the app doesn't pick up your data, restart it, and you should see your realm data reflected in the app. Please be patient with addon makers during this turbulent time and support them as best you can.

Best Professions for Season of Discovery

With the level cap being 25 in the Season of Discovery, many players are looking to professions to enhance their characters and potentially make some gold. The Lazy Goldmaker offers some great advice on this topic, as we are still discovering the nuances of the new features.

Overall, the end-game meta will likely be similar to that of Classic, with Engineering being the top profession. However, there may be surprises and new bonuses added at lower level caps, so everything is up in the air.
