We at WowCarry have had the incredible opportunity to delve into the campaign and explore its intricacies. In this blog post, we will be focusing on Chapter 5 of the campaign, titled "Eye of Ysera." Brace yourselves for an exhilarating ride as we provide you with all the exciting details of this chapter.

Chapter 5: Eye of Ysera

Our journey begins with a distressing report that the formidable Djaradin forces are launching a siege on the legendary Eye of Ysera. This mystical place serves as the seat of power for the former aspect within the Dream. Determined to assess the situation, we make our way to the Eye of Ysera, accompanied by three mighty green dragons - Lord Itharius, Somnikus, and Gerithus. These valiant dragons have fully recuperated from the treacherous attack by Fyrakk in the cinematic of Patch 10.1.7.

As we arrive at the scene, we witness one of Igira's generals launching an assault on this sacred location. The gravity of the situation demands immediate action. Our first task is to empower the preservers in a mission aptly titled "A New Brute." By enhancing the defenses and forcing the Djaradin forces to retreat, we lay the groundwork for further exploration. It is at this point that we encounter Ysera, who is facing challenges in channeling her energy into the Eye.

Merithra, Ysera's daughter, approaches her with the hope of delivering some good news. However, Ysera's distress becomes evident as she expresses her frustration - "It is not... working. Why does it reject me?" As Ysera valiantly defends the area, we turn our attention to Bodwin, one of the owl scouts of the dream. It is through Bodwin's insights that we gather valuable intelligence in the missions "In and Out Scout" and "Disarm Specialist," where we scout the Djaradin forces and disrupt their operations respectively.

• Merithra's Bold Plan

With the situation escalating, Merithra devises a high-risk plan to lure Galok, the Djaradin commander, into a trap within her territory. This audacious scheme involves seeking help from Ysera and her allies. Merithra proposes the idea of dispelling the shield over the Eye to draw their enemies to them. Ysera, recognizing the necessity of this plan, gives her approval.

This pivotal moment is marked by the unwavering support of Lord Itharius and Somnikus. Lord Itharius announces that he has already summoned their flight to aid in the battle. Merithra's leadership gains further reinforcement as the druids rally under Somnikus' banner. Gerithus, understanding the magnitude of the suffering endured, pledges himself to devise strategic maneuvers for Lord Itharius and Somnikus. Together, this united front endeavors to bring an end to the conflict.

• Preparations and Triumph

With preparations underway, we embark on a crucial task known as "Putting Roots Down." This mission involves planting seeds that sprout roots capable of stunning and poisoning our enemies. Additionally, we camouflage wildlife as adorable cubs, luring the opposition into underestimating their true strength. These subtle tactics prime us for the forthcoming events.

In the pivotal mission "Merithra's Gambit," we request Ysera to lower the Eye's defenses momentarily. As the barrier weakens, the Djaradin forces take the bait and launch an attack on the Eye of Ysera. It is in the subsequent missions, "Triple Threat" and "Might of the Forest," that we prove our mettle by vanquishing commander Galok, his lieutenants, and ultimately eliminating the remaining Djaradin forces. Our relentless efforts culminate in the exhilarating adventure of "Flight and Fight," where we take to the skies, mounted on dragons, to eradicate the firebats and secure victory.

With the Eye of Ysera defended and our triumph assured, the chapter concludes with a tantalizing cutscene that is yet to be unveiled. Our journey then takes us back to Amirdrassil in the mission "The Ember Still Smolders." However, before departing, Merithra and Ysera engage in a poignant conversation about Merithra's role and Ysera's perceived failure. Thus concludes Chapter 5, titled "Eye of Ysera," in the monumental 10.2 campaign.

Final Thoughts

We joyously celebrate the triumph of good over evil as we witness the defeat of Galok and the subsequent safeguarding of the Eye of Ysera.
