Week of October 10: The Fall of the Lich King Update

Get ready for an epic adventure as the icy winds of Icecrown Citadel sweep across the lands of Northrend. Starting this week, October 10, the Fall of the Lich King content update will become available. This update brings a variety of updates to the Wrath of the Lich King Classic expansion.

First up, we have new dungeons to explore. Brace yourself for the Forge of Souls, Pit of Saron, and the Halls of Reflection. These thrilling dungeons will test your skills and reward you with epic loot.

Blizzard is also introducing the Random Dungeon Finder, making it easier than ever to team up with other players and tackle dungeons together. This feature allows you to quickly find groups and jump into the action.

Additionally, a new dungeon called Titan Rune Dungeons: Defense Protocol Gamma will be available. This challenging dungeon promises great rewards for those who can overcome its trials.

But that's not all! The Fall of the Lich King update also brings a revamped collections user interface. Managing your mounts, pets, toys, and achievements will be more convenient and visually appealing than ever before.

Icecrown Citadel Opens on October 12

Are you prepared to face the Lich King himself? Well, get your gear ready because on October 12 at 3:00 pm PDT (22:00 GMT), Icecrown Citadel will open its doors globally. Within its walls, you'll discover twelve challenging encounters spread across five wings.

Icecrown Citadel offers two modes: Normal and Heroic. Whether you prefer a more casual experience or want to test your skills in a challenging environment, this raid dungeon has something for everyone.

And for those brave enough to embark on the Shadowmourne Legendary quest, Death Knights, Paladins, and Warriors will have the opportunity to wield this legendary two-handed axe. This quest chain will push your limits and reward you with legendary power.
