The icy winds of Icecrown Citadel will soon sweep the lands of Northrend. Patch 3.4.3, which becomes available the week of October 10th, brings a variety of updates to Wrath of the Lich King Classic. Some of the key features included in this patch are:

Icecrown Citadel Opens on October 12

The wait is almost over! On October 12th at 3:00 pm PDT (22:00 GMT), the doors of Icecrown Citadel will finally open. Inside this formidable stronghold, players will be able to engage in twelve thrilling encounters across five wings. Whether you choose to face the Lich King in Normal or Heroic mode, be prepared for epic battles that will test your skills and teamwork.

But that's not all! For Death Knights, Paladins, and Warriors who are up for a legendary challenge, the Shadowmourne Legendary quest chain will also be available. Only those who prove their worth will be able to wield this legendary two-handed axe.
