Navigating Diablo 4 Season 1 with WowCarry

As Diablo 4 Season 1 is just around the corner, players are buzzing with excitement and anticipation. The question on everyone's mind is: what to play? Will you stick with a tried and true build from Pre-Season? Or will you try something new? Whether you're aiming to push for Nightmare Dungeon Tier 100 or Uber Lilith is your goal, the vast array of options can get overwhelming.

To assist you in this epic journey, WowCarry has ranked our favorite endgame builds from best to worst. Our Endgame Tier List covers everything from damage output to mobility and resource management. So, whether you're looking for a specific build for the class you love or information to pick a new class altogether, we've got you covered.

S Tier - The Best Diablo 4 Endgame Builds

These builds are the creme de la creme, offering the most effective strategies in the game.

  • Hammer of the Ancients Barbarian

  • The Hammer of the Ancients Barbarian build is a fan-favorite skill that makes a comeback in the franchise for Barbarians. The naturally small Area of Effect (AOE) that comes with HOTA is significantly enhanced by the Offensive Aspect of Ancestral Force. Although it may be a bit tricky to locate, don't worry, you can always imprint it from the Codex of Power. This build offers incredible AOE damage at a relatively affordable cost. Early on, Fury generation can be a bit of a challenge, but once this is resolved, this build can clear anything in the game.

To effectively support the Hammer of the Ancients, we incorporate several standard tools for the endgame. The Lunging Strike is a must until your Fury issues are addressed, after which it can be substituted with either Leap, Charge, or Ground Stomp, depending on your playstyle.

Next, we incorporate all three shouts: Rallying Cry for Unstoppable, Fury generation, and movement; War Cry for Berserking and extra damage; and Challenging Shout for damage reduction. The final piece of the puzzle is the Wrath of the Berserker, which provides additional damage and Berserking on Elites and Bosses, truly turning this build into a formidable force in the game.

  • Bone Spear Necromancer

  • The Bone Spear Necromancer is a formidable endgame build that naturally progresses from our top leveling build. Not only does it offer a high Critical Strike Chance, but it also brings a massive surge of power to your gameplay.

The real beauty of this build lies in how it enhances the Bone Spear ability. It tags everything on the screen as Vulnerable, and then, thanks to the Resource Aspect of Exposed Flesh, it enables us to tap into an endless supply of Essence. With the right gear, you might just find yourself swimming in a sea of Essence.

Despite its impressive power, the Necromancer does have one drawback - its movement speed. However, we've found a workaround for this issue by incorporating the Wind Striker Aspect into our deadly arsenal. This strategy, coupled with movement speed boots, enables our crits to expedite our progression through the entire game.

Of course, the journey to becoming a fully-equipped level 100 god of death won't happen overnight. You'll need to be strategic and adaptable. While the Resource Aspect of Exposed Flesh is a popular choice, you might not get your hands on it immediately. In the meantime, combining the Resource Aspect of the Umbral with Penitent Greaves is an excellent alternative for generating sufficient Essence.

This Endgame Guide will help you in your journey to achieve the new heights!

  • Death Trap Rogue

  • The Death Trap Rogue build combines remarkable crowd control, utility, and raw power, making it an all-in-one package ready to take on anything the game throws at you. While Poison Trap or Death Trap might feature in any Rogue build, this one specializes in them. It achieves this by pairing them with the trap-themed Exposure key passive. When combined with the cooldown recovery offered by Twisting Blades, you're able to reset your traps in just a few seconds, allowing you to continuously wreak havoc on your adversaries!

In many ways, this build bears a striking resemblance to the Twisting Blades Rogue in terms of setup and playstyle. However, it stands out due to its slower movement speed, stronger nukes, and the ability to gather enemies together using Prime Death Trap. The latter is a fantastic utility for groups, but it's also handy for solo play, where you can knock enemies into your Poison Trap and Bladedancer AoE effects to swiftly eliminate them.

While most builds require you to dart around the battlefield to maximize the potential of Twisting Blades and hit as many targets as possible, the Trapper playstyle is comparatively more relaxed. Running this build, you'll find yourself toying with your enemies without breaking a sweat. So, let's get started!

  • Ice Shards Sorcerer

  • The Ice Shards Sorcerer build turns your Sorcerer into a frosty powerhouse, shooting out Ice Shards at an impressive rate of around 1000 Rounds Per Minute. The build stands out for its excellent single-target DPS and relatively long range, enabling it to make substantial progress in Nightmare Dungeons. While its AoE damage may seem somewhat lacking, the combined forces of Shatter and the pull from Raiment of the Infinite easily compensate for that.

Although technically this build can be played at range, most of the Sorcerer's really effective abilities, like Frost Nova and Raiment of the Infinite, are most potent in melee combat. Consequently, each build will need to incorporate melee combat to a certain degree. However, during Boss fights, neither of these abilities function, so you are free to retreat to a safe distance and take potshots at the Boss.

The Ice Shards Sorcerer build does not heavily rely on any specific Legendary Aspects. The Codex of Power versions of Prodigy's and Piercing Cold are more than sufficient to drive this build. However, a significant portion of the build's power is concentrated in Frost Nova. This can make the build feel a bit sluggish until you amass enough Cooldown Reduction and ranks in Frost Nova to spam it effectively.

  • Twisting Blades Rogue

  • The Twisting Blades build is a remarkable farmer, boasting a movement speed that outpaces virtually everything else in the game. However, such a powerhouse comes with a trade-off: it has weak defenses and requires a high level of skill to play optimally. If you're seeking an exciting, nimble, melee-but-not-quite-melee Rogue build, then you've found what you're looking for!

Twisting Blades is a two-step melee attack. Initially, you target a single enemy for moderate damage, and after a brief delay, the blades return to you from that enemy's position. These returning blades form the crux of the build and are what you need to strategize around to succeed. On their return journey, these blades strike all enemies, dealing high damage. When combined with mobility skills like Evade, Dash, and Shadow Step, you can decimate entire packs at once during their flight.

Moreover, Advanced Twisting Blades allows you to swiftly reset most of your abilities, ensuring they're available almost constantly. It may seem challenging to grasp initially, but don't lose heart! With a bit of practice and our guide, you too can master the Twisting Blades Rogue in Diablo 4. Let's dive in!

  • Werewolf Tornado Druid

  • The Werewolf Tornado Druid build is an ode to the nostalgic days of Tornado Druids in Diablo 2. Many a player remember the time when not a single Tornado would hit its target due to seemingly random pathing. In Diablo 4, this issue is solved ingeniously with Stormchaser's Aspect. It simplifies the gameplay as Tornados effortlessly tear through open-world content and Nightmare Dungeons in the Tier of any range.

However, without Tempest Roar and the Dire Wolf's Offensive Aspect, this build doesn't quite come together. Once these are in place, the gameplay becomes extremely beginner-friendly. It can almost be summed up by: "Close your eyes and hold down the Tornado hotkey." But, of course, you will need to employ other skills as well.

The gameplay strategy is straightforward: cast 1-2 Storm Strikes to generate some Spirit, then switch to Tornado. As long as you have Grizzly Rage active with the Dire Wolf's Aspect, coupled with some Spirit Generation from your Paragon Board and the Lucky Hit procs from Tempest Roar, you will be able to unleash a relentless barrage of Tornadoes.

Both Earthen Might and Perfect Storm are viable key passive options for this build. Our variants page offers more details for you to explore.

On a cautionary note, the Tornado Druid is not ideal for PvP. The lack of mobility skills and the slow movement speed of Tornados, which can be easily evaded, mean you're often on the defensive.

A Tier - Strong and Versatile Endgame Builds

These builds may not top the charts, but they are still strong and versatile, suitable for most situations in Diablo 4.

  • Arc Lash Sorcerer

  • The Arc Lash Sorceress build is designed around delivering rapid attacks with Arc Lash, producing an abundance of Unstable Currents and Ball Lightning Enchantment procs. A significant part of the build's damage output is due to Lucky Hit procs, meaning your damage increases with more enemies in combat. It also delivers solid damage against Bosses, provided they don't frequently move out of Ball Lightnings' range.

As for durability, the Arc Lash Sorceress is as robust as a Sorcerer can get. This is due to the combination of all four Defensive Skills on our bar and additional Cooldown Reduction from Glinting Arc Lash. However, withstanding in melee range in high-tier Nightmare Dungeons demands careful usage of abilities and a well-thought strategy.

Interestingly, this build doesn't necessarily require any specific Legendary Aspects to function well. Each of them provides a small boost, and missing one or two won't sabotage the build. Rather, this build has a voracious appetite for stats. It needs an ample amount of Cooldown Reduction, Attack Speed, and Critical Strike Chance to be effective. Consequently, you might have to modify your build and settle for a weaker version until you gather all these requisite stats.

  • Blizzard Sorcerer

  • Distinct from most other builds, the Blizzard Sorcerer scales not on its weapon's DPS but rather on the ‍Glacial Aspect's value. This characteristic makes leveling with this build a bit challenging, as you'll need to consistently acquire ‍Glacial to keep pace with the increasing levels of monsters. However, the silver lining here is that securing good weapons becomes considerably easier - we're interested in their stat rolls rather than their item power.

As for its defense, the ‍Blizzard Sorcerer employs the standard set of Defensive Skills, ensuring substantial safety and robustness until high-tier Nightmare Dungeons. Here, nearly all adversaries can defeat you in one strike, forcing you to dodge hits and lean on ‍Flame Shield for survival.

Here at WowCarry, we are dedicated to providing all the necessary knowledge for you to flourish with the ‍Blizzard Sorcerer build in Diablo 4.

  • Firewall Sorcerer

  • The Firewall Sorceress build literally sets the game ablaze, providing excellent AoE coverage, though it may find bosses challenging. While not the quickest build for clearing Nightmare Dungeons, it champions the idea of a slow, relentless burn, ensuring every foe eventually succumbs to the flames if you can maintain your survival.

The crux of this build's approach is almost akin to melee, as you'll need to stay in close proximity to your foes, lest they promptly evade your ‍Firewalls. The typical game loop involves crafting a sizable inferno, then darting around its periphery while casting other spells or indulging in a spot of manic laughter, watching your enemies incinerate.

What sets the ‍Firewall Sorcerer apart is its remarkable reliability and resilience. It doesn't necessitate any specific non-Codex Aspects or particular gear stats to perform its fiery duty. This feature makes it ideal for leveling and initial endgame play, although its lack of scalability in comparison to other builds is worth noting.

  • Flurry Rogue

  • The Flurry Rogue build is a nimble, melee-centric configuration that provides an excellent starting point for beginners due to its rapid-fire attacks and versatile crowd control capabilities. Boasting high durability and superior sustain, it outshines other Rogue builds in terms of resilience, making it an all-rounder that is easily adaptable to various types of gameplay content.

‍Flurry primarily targets foes directly ahead, but with the inclusion of the ‍Aspect of Encircling Blades, it broadens its attack radius to a full 360°, providing greater flexibility in positioning and boosting clear speed. The build's efficacy is further amplified through a high Critical Strike Chance and Vulnerable procs, which elevate both burst damage with ‍Shadow Imbuement and sustained damage via ‍Poison Imbuement.

As a melee configuration, mobility is a key factor in the Flurry Rogue build's success. With skills like ‍Dash and ‍Shadow Step, it possesses the agility required to navigate battlefields with swift precision, further enhancing its prowess in combat situations.

  • Lightning Storm Druid

  • The Lightning Storm Druid build is a formidable arrangement, offering superior area damage due to its far-reaching range and substantial area of effect. Notable for its impressive movement speed and robust defenses, this build flourishes in the later stages of the endgame, delivering a swift and seamless experience. However, its potential in high Nightmare Dungeon pushes may be somewhat constrained by inconsistent single-target damage.

Lightning Storm strikes in a wide radius and can be targeted anywhere on the screen. This combined with the build's impressive movement speed positions it as one of the best farming setups in the game. The incorporation of Grizzly Rage and Aspect of the Rampaging Werebeast boosts the build's damage output while significantly reducing resource costs. Nevertheless, the use of these components also necessitates the inclusion of Tempest Roar.

Defense-wise, Grizzly Rage serves as an effective barrier against Crowd Control, offering consistent Unstoppable status. The Masochistic Boon, in combination with Lightning Storm and Hurricane, supplies a strong healing source that is further bolstered by Blood Howl. Additional damage reduction is provided by Hurricane and Cyclone Armor, supplementing the defenses offered by gear, passive abilities, and the Paragon system.

This build relies heavily on Legendary Aspects and Unique items. While it can function without Grizzly Rage, the skill's access to Critical Strike Damage, Unstoppable, and Resource Cost Reduction significantly amplifies the build's effectiveness. It's recommended to acquire Dire Wolf's Aspect, Aspect of the Rampaging Werebeast, and Tempest Roar before fully committing to this build.

  • Pulverize Druid

  • The Pulverize Druid build offers a compelling mix of extensive AoE damage on ranged attacks and robust defenses. Its straightforward playstyle can carry you deep into Nightmare Dungeons, although its limitations in single-target damage may pose a challenge in the highest-tier dungeons.

The potent blend of Pulverize and the Shockwave Aspect generates a cone-shaped area of immense damage directly in front of you. With sufficient enemy density, you can consistently trigger the Earthen Might key passive, facilitating the spamming of Pulverize with a guaranteed Critical Strike. To optimize the single-target damage output of the Pulverize Druid, it is crucial to pinpoint the optimal balance between the radius of Pulverize itself and the resulting shockwave.

Your defenses are fortified with the triad of Grizzly Rage, Earthen Bulwark, and Trample, all of which grant Unstoppable status, rendering you virtually impervious to Crowd Control. Additionally, you are practically perpetually Fortified under most circumstances.

Except for Shockwave, all necessary Legendary Aspects for this build are available in the Codex of Power. This means that the build can become operational with just a single item drop, making it an accessible choice for many players.
  • Rapid Fire Rogue

  • The Rapid Fire Rogue build operates on a straightforward principle. At its core, the build utilizes the Improved Rapid Fire skill which replenishes 15 Energy each time Rapid Fire is cast, given that the target is Vulnerable. This interaction creates a scenario where the Energy cost of Rapid Fire is instantly reimbursed when hitting a Vulnerable enemy.

The synergistic combination of Shadow Imbuement and the Exploit Glyph constitutes the primary method of applying Vulnerability, with Poison Trap as an alternative option. Shadow Clone emerges as a superior Ultimate Skill for this build, chiefly because we are employing Preparation as our Specialization Skill. This specialization allows for a cooldown reduction of your Ultimate for every 100 Energy expended, and triggers a complete reset of all other cooldowns upon usage of your Ultimate.

The intriguing facet of the Rapid Fire build lies in its ability to refund its Energy cost. This makes it effortless to expend 100 Energy, resulting in a continuous reduction of cooldowns for all skills. In turn, this enables more straightforward application of Shadow Imbuement and offers increased uptime for mobility skills like Dash and Shadow Step. The Rapid Fire Rogue build offers an interesting playstyle centered around tactical energy management and continuous movement.

  • Rend Barbarian

  • The Rend Barbarian build, reimagined from Diablo III, offers a potent direct damage approach in Diablo 4. Boasting one of the highest single-target damage outputs among Barbarian builds, it slices through Open World Content and Nightmare Dungeons with relative ease, positioning itself as a formidable endgame choice. However, given the limited range of Rend and the tactical need to group enemies closely with Charge or Ground Stomp, this build requires a certain level of skill, making it an appealing choice for the more seasoned players.

A standout feature of this build is its array of Shouts, including Rallying Cry, War Cry, and Challenging Shout. These party-buffing abilities make the Rend Barbarian a strong asset in group play, boosting Movement Speed, Resource Generation, Defense, and Damage for the entire team.

As for the gameplay, it's relatively straightforward. The approach involves closing in on the enemies using either Lunging Strike or Charge, followed by activating the Shouts for enhanced abilities. Wrath of the Berserker is triggered if no generator is in use, and then it's all about letting loose with Rend, making the most of each savage attack. It's vital to activate buffs first to maximize the damage potential of the initial Rend strike, contributing to a rewarding and dynamic gameplay experience.

  • Shred Druid

  • The Shred Druid build in Diablo 4 offers a unique approach to combat, focusing on maximizing Poisoning effects on the enemies and capitalizing on those effects with the Shred skill and the Aspect of the Blurred Beast. This methodology allows for a swift damage application, as you jump from one adversary to the next.

The gameplay is pretty simple. You begin by applying Poisoning through the Poison Creeper skill, and then execute Shred to instantly inflict all the Poison damage on your enemies. This process is repeated while the Poisoning remains active.

Several other Skills and Passives contribute to this build's efficiency. Spirit generation is facilitated by Storm Strike, Innate Blood Howl, Savage Trample, and the Legendary Paragon node Lust for Carnage, as well as the Spirit on Kill nodes. Blood Howl not only aids in healing but also improves the Crit Chance, whereas Trample and Earthen Bulwark provide access to a rotation of Unstoppable, which is integral for handling Nightmare Dungeons.

Additionally, this build is formidable in PvP, thanks to its potent healing abilities, high mobility, large burst window, and dual sources of Unstoppable. However, one should be cautious about the high cooldown on Poison Creeper, as it can be challenging to maintain in extended fights with low enemy density.

  • Stormclaw Druid

  • The Stormclaw Druid build in Diablo 4 is a force to be reckoned with, boasting a strong melee playstyle paired with extraordinary resilience, even when faced with the formidable Nightmare Dungeons. It employs the unique Greatstaff of the Crone to simultaneously launch Claw and Storm Strike attacks, making it a powerhouse that's as formidable in terms of speed and damage as it is near-impervious. It's important to note that this build can't function without the Greatstaff of the Crone!

The straightforward gameplay of this build is one of its key strengths. The primary source of damage stems from two Basic Skills, so there's no need to worry about Spirit generation. The only challenge might be in maintaining Grizzly Rage's uptime, but this doesn't pose much of a threat outside of Nightmare pushing.

Several other skills and passives enhance the build's effectiveness. Cyclone Armor provides significant damage reduction and a helpful knockback in sticky situations. Blood Howl bolsters healing and increases attack speed, while Hurricane offers damage reduction, a slowing effect, and healing via critical strikes with Masochistic, thereby boosting the proc rates of Calm Before the Storm. Lastly, Grizzly Rage provides a substantial buff to crit damage, ensuring you're Unstoppable with a high uptime.

  • Whirlwind Barbarian

  • The Whirlwind Barbarian build, a truly emblematic and potent force in Diablo 4, is back and ready to spin-to-win! Excelling in Open World Content and Nightmare Dungeons, this build shines in Diablo 4's endgame scenarios. Moreover, its straightforward gameplay mechanics make it an ideal choice for newcomers and casual players alike. Not only that, but it also boasts a variety of Shouts that enhance the capabilities of your entire party, rendering it a top-tier pick for cooperative gameplay.

To kick off the whirlwind mayhem, first, unleash the Rallying Cry, War Cry, and Challenging Shout to augment Movement Speed, Resource Generation, Defense, and Damage. Once that's done, initiate Wrath of the Berserker and dive into a relentless Whirlwind frenzy. To avoid channeling interruptions, it's crucial to activate buffs beforehand.

In its final form, the build retains Shouts and Wrath of the Berserker, while replacing Lunging Strike with Iron Skin, resulting in a substantial boost in toughness. Procing Iron Skin when HP dips below 50% grants Fortify and interrupts channeling to trigger Gohr's Devastating Grips.

The convergence of these elements gives birth to one of the fastest builds in Diablo 4, capable of swiftly clearing all endgame activities the game has to offer. So, strap in for a whirlwind of action!

B Tier - Viable Diablo 4 Endgame Builds

Not as optimal as the S and A tier builds, these builds are still viable and can hold their own in the right hands.

  • Ball Lightning Sorcerer

  • The Ball Lightning Sorcerer build leverages the Gravitational Aspect to generate an array of dazzling Ball Lightnings that dance around in a circular pattern. Possessing solid single-target damage output and a respectable area-of-effect coverage, this build can push you quite far into Nightmare Dungeons. However, it's not without its drawbacks - notably, its melee range, the absence of burst damage, and an unfortunate interaction with walls, causing Ball Lightnings to vanish.

Don't be deceived by the seemingly lackluster damage numbers produced by the Ball Lightning Sorcerer. You may never see a million damage pop up on your screen, but the sheer frequency of these damage numbers more than makes up for that. At times, the damage rate becomes so intense that it may necessitate disabling them in settings. As a wise saying goes, "Fear not the man who does 10 million damage per hit, fear the man who does 100,000 damage a thousand times per second."

On the defensive front, the Ball Lightning Sorcerer employs a standard set of Defensive Skills, ensuring a safe and robust state until you venture deep into Nightmare Dungeons. When pushing into the highest tiers, a tankier setup might be employed, though even this may fall short. In the end, the Flame Shield is your only salvation.

  • Blight Corpse Explosion Necromancer

  • The Blight Corpse Explosion Necromancer, also known as the "Black Hole" or "Brawler" Necromancer, offers a distinctive and potent melee playstyle. This build capitalizes on the synergy between Blight and Corpse Explosion, rapidly accumulating Shadowblight and delivering an astounding level of Area of Effect (AoE) Shadow Damage over time and Critical Strike bursts.

Through the use of Aspect of the Void, Blight and Corpse Tendrils work together to trap enemies within a restricted area. Alongside these, the Aspect of Ultimate Shadow allows Bone Storm to join the lethal combination of Blight and Corpse Explosion, escalating the Shadow Damage further. These combined abilities create a formidable black hole that perpetually pulls monsters into a death trap of Darkness from which there's no escape.

The Blight Corpse Explosion Necromancer excels at annihilating both high-density groups and single targets. It doesn't rely on any specific Unique Items and only necessitates a handful of Legendary Aspects to operate efficiently. This build consistently farms Nightmare Dungeons up to Tier 75, demonstrating its scalability into endgame content. Contrasting its leveling counterpart, this build relinquishes its minions to gain more power and survival capabilities against formidable adversaries.

  • Bone Spirit Necromancer

  • The Bone Spirit Necromancer is, without a doubt, the most powerful build that the Priests of Rathma have ever conceived. Possessing the highest skill damage multiplier inherent to any skill in Diablo 4, Bone Spirit becomes a devastating force when its Critical Strike Chance is maximized, often one-shotting most adversaries in the game.

The entire build is centered around the concept of rallying enemies together for a single explosive strike from the Bone Spirit, which deals its damage in a small radius upon impact. This strategy is facilitated by Corpse Tendrils, which not only applies Vulnerable and Stunning effects, but also congregates enemies into a single spot, making it incredibly efficient at wiping out entire groups.

The assembly of Exodia via the Blood Artisan's Cuirass allows for the casting of additional Bone Spirits completely free of charge. Although the initial bonus damage may not be as significant, it benefits from all buffs and ranks applied to the original skill. This capability makes the build excellent for speed-farming simpler content, although it can struggle with higher-tier Nightmare Dungeons.

Despite a high degree of flexibility in gear options, utility skills, and paragon priorities, the Bone Spirit Necromancer is certainly an endgame build. Therefore, it is advisable to secure the minimum gear for the basic version before transitioning to this formidable build.

  • Chain Lightning Sorcerer

  • The Chain Lightning Sorcerer build is a spectacle to behold. As one of the most visually stunning builds in Diablo 4, it relentlessly assaults and immobilizes foes with a surge of electricity. Exhibiting remarkable mobility and substantial speed-farming potential, it tears through open world events and Helltides effortlessly, and also has commendable capability for pushing through Nightmare Dungeons.

The core of this build's damage output is comprised of Chain Lightning and Unstable Currents, with Frost Nova amplifying the hurt by adding a Vulnerable status. With the Raiment of the Infinite, Convulsions, Aspect of Retribution, and Teleport Enchantment in play, this setup ceaselessly stuns enemies. Combined with the freezing effect from dual Frost Nova courtesy of the Frostblitz Aspect, adversaries find themselves helplessly ensnared in a deadly electrical onslaught.

Though this shock-damage dynamo might not match its leveling counterpart in endgame effectiveness, it compensates with an engaging and satisfying playstyle. After acquiring the Raiment of the Infinite and a couple of Legendary Aspects, the rest is simply electrifying. With the Chain Lightning Sorcerer, you'll be sliding your way to an electrifying victory!

  • Penetrating Shot Rogue

  • The Penetrating Shot Rogue offers a high-impact, ranged gameplay experience. An ideal choice for players seeking a powerful and comprehensible build that scales robustly into the endgame, it also shines as one of the most effective builds for pushing Nightmare Dungeons. With a myriad of strategies and tools at your disposal, you can safely command the battlefield from a distance.

At its core, the Penetrating Shot skill fires a single, devastating arrow that pierces through enemies. While it may seem simple, coupling this with Imbuements and the Trickshot Aspect transforms this straightforward shot into a screen-clearing nuke. Much like many Rogue skills, optimal positioning is key; the more enemies you line up for your shot, the higher the damage output. Master this, and you'll be treated to a spectacular display of demon annihilation.

This bow build capitalizes on the Umbrous Aspect, which grants a seventh skill at no cost. Although we still invest points into Dark Shroud for the added movement speed, the Umbrous Aspect absorbs all the perks assigned to the skill.

In summary, the Penetrating Shot Rogue is a gratifying build that rewards strategic planning and execution. This guide is designed to help you leverage the Penetrating Shot skill to its maximum potential, paving the way for your triumph in the endgame!

  • Sever Necromancer

  • The Sever Necromancer build makes a stunning impression in Diablo 4, boasting visually impressive animations of summoned undead reapers. These grim companions slice through enemies in their vicinity before darting back to your side and launching one final, destructive attack. With up to four reapers constantly ravaging your adversaries, the incessant sound of swinging Scythes is a symphony to any Necromancer's ears. When paired with the explosive power of Blighted Corpse Explosion, the build achieves formidable AoE damage potential.

Adding to the carnage are your Skeletal Mages, making the battlefield an even more chaotic and deadly place for your foes.

What's particularly compelling about the Sever Necromancer build is the depth of customization it offers through Legendary Aspects. The Codex of Power provides the standard power enhancements that can easily be integrated into the build. But what sets it apart are the intriguing skill transformation options, which imbue your typical Sever rotation with additional utility and amplification of AoE damage. Experience the thrill of orchestrating a symphony of devastation with the Sever Necromancer build!

  • Trampleslide Druid

  • The Trampleslide Druid is a dynamic leveling and speedfarming build that puts the Trampled Earth Aspect front and center. This build unleashes Trample to charge headfirst into foes, wreaking havoc with ensuing Landslides. The wide-reaching AoE of the charge, further amplified by the Aftershock Aspect, leaves a path of devastation in its wake.

The high cooldown of Trample can be managed through Cooldown Reduction stats, best sought on your Amulet and Helmet. When paired with the Symbiotic Aspect, Nature's Fury, and the crucial Greatstaff of the Crone, Trample achieves near-constant uptime. The Greatstaff allows for a 40% proc chance for Nature's Fury as it facilitates simultaneous use of Storm Strike and Claw.

However, while it excels in speedfarming and leveling contexts, the Trampleslide Druid is less potent when tasked with navigating high-tier Nightmare Dungeons. Nevertheless, it boasts a high uptime on Fortify and Masochistic, which provides impressive tankiness during speedfarming scenarios. With the Trampleslide Druid, you can revel in the rush of charging through your enemies and leaving destruction in your path.

C Tier - Less Optimal Diablo 4 Endgame Builds

While these builds may not be optimal, they can still be fun and offer a unique playstyle.

  • Blood Surge Necromancer

  • The Blood Surge Necromancer build is a thrilling exploration into the limits of Area of Effect (AoE) Damage, constantly pushing the boundaries and answering the question "how much is too much?" with a resounding "never enough!" Utilizing both Essence and Corpses as resource types, this build orchestrates a cacophonous symphony of screen-shaking DPS, starting with a few fallen enemies and letting Corpse Explosions finish the rest.

As a bonus, this build offers you an impressive cadre of glowing skeletal minions that persist throughout your leveling journey. These tireless soldiers can be sacrificed when your resource sustain and damage output reach levels that allow more effective use of the Corpses they're raised from.

One of the most satisfying aspects of this build is its minimal reliance on Legendary Aspects during leveling; the Codex of Power alone can carry you to the endgame. However, the potential of this build exponentially increases if you discover key Aspects along the way.

The combination of Blood Surge and Corpse Explosion forms the quintessential core of the Necromancer leveling experience in Diablo 4. Starting with this build provides the flexibility to smoothly transition into a wide array of other Necromancer builds, depending on the Aspects you come across during your journey.

  • Conjuration Sorcerer

  • The Conjuration Sorcerer, often referred to as the "Elementalist" Sorcerer, is a unique build that capitalizes on a triad of Conjuration Skills: Hydra, Ice Blades, and Lightning Spear. Harnessing the elemental powers of fire, cold, and lightning, this build is prepared to tackle any adversary. The Conjuration Sorcerer is no stranger to the heat of combat, diving into the fray armed with a myriad of conjurations and the Frost Nova ability, which effectively neutralizes hordes of enemies.

Despite their comparatively low base damage, the Conjuration skills offer a significant lucky hit chance, a characteristic that the Conjuration Sorcerer build turns to its advantage. By employing the Frost Nova enchantment, which triggers on a Conjuration lucky hit, the build excels at crowd control, freezing and rendering enemies vulnerable to the devastating blows of Arc Lash. Though it may seem unorthodox, the Conjuration Sorcerer build serves as an exciting demonstration of how versatility and adaptability can yield a potent combat strategy.

  • Double Swing Barbarian

  • The Double Swing Barbarian build is a powerhouse that capitalizes on the Supreme Wrath of the Berserker, continually spending Fury to maximize this damage amplifying buff. For every 50 Fury spent, the Barbarian gains a 25% damage increase. The keystone of this build is the Double Swing skill, which is supercharged by Unbridled Rage, effectively doubling its cost while providing a hefty 135% damage boost.

The linchpin of this strategy is the Enhanced Double Swing, which refunds the full Fury cost whenever the Barbarian strikes a stunned enemy. This Fury refund, in conjunction with a high attack speed, allows the Barbarian to rapidly stack Supreme Wrath of the Berserker to astronomical levels. The end result is a formidable combatant, capable of delivering a flurry of devastating blows. The Double Swing Barbarian build offers players a high-intensity, high-reward playstyle that thrives in the thick of battle.

  • Meteor Sorcerer

  • If you're longing to embody the cataclysmic power of a Meteor, look no further than the Meteor Sorcerer build. While it might not be the most potent tool in the Sorcerer's arsenal, the Meteor build delivers more than just adequate damage—it serves a visual spectacle of celestial fury. The core idea is simple but effective: rain catastrophic, fiery annihilation upon your foes and look magnificent doing it.

Though the base skill damage is only above average, what truly sets the Meteor build apart is its dramatic visual impact. As you call down gargantuan boulders, wreathed in fire, crashing down upon the battlefield, you're guaranteed to make a lasting impression. Fire, ice, and death are your calling cards, erupting in a spectacular explosion as each meteor makes landfall. For the aesthetically inclined player, there's nothing quite like the sight of these celestial bodies transforming the battlefield into an awe-inspiring spectacle of destruction. If this aligns with your longing for power and spectacle, embrace the Meteor Sorcerer build - perhaps, in time, you'll not only master the meteors but become one with them.

  • Thorns Barbarian

  • Embrace the whirlwind of carnage with the Thorns Barbarian build in Diablo 4. This dynamic strategy, crafted by Mattjestic, a renowned Barbarian Thorns player, brings you into the heart of the battle, tearing through enemy ranks with reckless abandon. It's an exhilarating playstyle—unleash your barbarian roars, ignite the Wrath of the Berserker, and let the whirlwind carry you through the battlefield, unscathed.

This build harnesses the power of the 2H Axe Technique from the Expertise system, turning Vulnerable foes into easy targets. The gameplay loop is simple, but don't mistake that for weakness. Engage your shouts, activate Wrath, and spin to win, sweeping through your enemies like a tempest.

The key to this whirlwind of destruction is the Razorplate - a vital piece of gear offering up to 10,000 Thorns damage. This, paired with the Razorflare Legendary Aspect, converts your Thorns damage into a devastating AoE effect, ensuring no enemy can escape your storm. Even with the nerfing of Gohr’s Grips, the Thorns Barbarian remains a formidable build in Diablo 4, ensuring your rise to Barbarian dominance.
