October 05, 2023 3 minutes

Hey there, fellow Diablo enthusiasts! WowCarry here with some exciting news about the upcoming Season 2 of Diablo 4. Get ready for a whole new open world Event called Blood Harvest, along with other amazing features like Vampiric Powers, challenging Endgame Bosses, and quality-of-life improvements. Let's dive right into the details of what awaits us in this thrilling new season!

Introducing Blood Harvest: A Seasonal Event

One of the highlights of Season 2 is the Blood Harvest Seasonal Event. This event takes place in the Dry Steppes, Hawezar, and Scosglen regions of Sanctuary, where cunning Blood Seekers under the command of the Dark Master have unleashed armies of vampires. As a result, chaos ensues and the peaceful inhabitants of these regions are imprisoned.

Similar to the Helltides event, Blood Harvest will rotate between zones, ensuring that players can experience the same content in different environments. This exciting new event will provide you with the perfect opportunity to earn Potent Blood and Pact Armor, which are essential for activating and enhancing Vampiric Powers.

  • Participate in Blood Harvest from the Start

Unlike Helltides, where participation is only available once your character reaches World Tier 3, you can join in the Blood Harvest events right after creating your character. Additionally, while Helltides are active for limited one-hour periods, there will always be a Blood Harvest event active somewhere on the map. For example, as a Blood Harvest ends in the Dry Steppes, another event will immediately become activated in Scosglen.

  • Currencies and Rewards

During Blood Harvest events, players will receive various currencies. One such currency is Blood Lures, which can be used to summon Bloodseekers. These powerful creatures have a higher chance of dropping Potent Blood. You will also earn Vampiric Keys, which can either be used to free captured citizens of Sanctuary or unlock Vampiric Caches. Both Blood Lures and Vampiric Keys will stay with you and can be used in future Blood Harvest events.

Moreover, participating in Blood Harvest events will also earn you Hunter's Acclaim reputation. This reputation can be earned by slaying monsters, freeing prisoners, and engaging in other Blood Harvest-related activities. As you accumulate Hunter's Acclaim reputation, you will unlock a range of rewards, including Legendary Caches, Vampiric Powers, and Potent Blood. Head to the Hunter's Acclaim Board in town to claim these well-deserved rewards.

Embracing Community Feedback

Blizzard has taken into account the valuable feedback from the community and responded by introducing more challenging and rewarding activities in the vast overworld of Diablo 4. The Blood Harvest event and its associated features are geared towards addressing the community's desire for engaging content. We can't wait to join you in these exhilarating Blood Harvests, take on formidable Endgame Bosses, and explore the depths of the new Vampiric Powers when Season of Blood kicks off on October 17th!

Diablo 4 Content Progression Revamp

In addition to the excitement surrounding Season 2, Blizzard has also announced a content progression revamp for Diablo 4. This revamp includes the introduction of five brand new Boss Encounters, each bringing their own unique challenges and rewards to the game. Prepare yourselves for epic battles and reap the spoils of victory as you conquer these formidable foes.
