Feb. 13th Weekly Bonus Event: Dragonflight Dungeons - Earn the Heroic Amirdrassil Cache

February 13, 2024 3 minutes

Welcome back, adventurers! It's time for another exciting event in the world of Azeroth. The Dragonflight Dungeon Event has returned with the weekly reset, offering players a chance at some amazing rewards. Get ready to embark on thrilling dungeon runs and collect powerful loot!

The Emissary of War Quest

When you log in this week, don't forget to pick up the Emissary of War quest. This quest requires you to complete four Mythic Dungeons, either Dragonflight Mythic 0 or any Keystone dungeon. Once you've accomplished this feat, you will receive a Cache of Amirdrassil Treasures. Inside this cache, you'll find one piece of non-tier gear from Heroic Amirdrassil. The best part is that the loot can come from any of the nine bosses, regardless of whether you've already defeated them or not!

Strategy Tip: Great Vault Loot

If you want to maximize your rewards from the Dungeon Event, we recommend that you hold off on selecting your Great Vault loot until after you've completed the Emissary of War quest. This way, you can avoid potentially receiving a duplicate piece of loot from the event's weekly rewards. Remember, patience is key!

How to Participate

There are two ways you can join in on the Dragonflight Dungeon Event. First, you can open up the Group Finder (default hotkey: I) and queue for any Dragonflight dungeon on Normal or Heroic difficulty. This gives you a chance at additional loot throughout the week. Alternatively, you can gather your own group of fearless adventurers, head to one of the Dragonflight dungeons, and set the difficulty to Mythic before entering. The choice is yours!

Weekly Quest and Rewards

  • Kazra's Quest in Valdrakken

Kazra in Valdrakken has a special quest waiting for you. If you happen to forget to pick it up from him directly, you can easily start it within the Adventure Guide by pressing Shift-J. The quest requirement is simple – complete four Dragonflight dungeons on Mythic difficulty. Once you've accomplished this task, you'll be rewarded with the Cache of Amirdrassil Treasures, which contains one piece of non-tier gear from Normal Amirdrassil, also known as the Dream's Hope.

  • Passive Bonus

During the Dragonflight Dungeon Event, the final boss in each dungeon will drop additional loot on all difficulties, except for Mythic+ difficulties. This means you have even more chances to score some epic gear!

Weekly Bonus Events

Every week, World of Warcraft offers a rotating schedule of activities known as the Bonus Events system. These events grant players passive bonuses for specific game activities and provide an additional quest with a special reward. To stay up-to-date with the event schedule, you can refer to the in-game calendar or use the Adventure Guide for direct access to active Bonus Events and their associated quests.

Final Thoughts

The Dragonflight Dungeon Event is an excellent opportunity to hone your skills, challenge yourself with Mythic difficulty, and acquire some fantastic loot. Make sure to take advantage of this event and gather your group of adventurers. Good luck, and may all your dungeon runs be successful!
