Hey everyone, it's WowCarry here! Today, we have some exciting news from Blizzard. They have just released a new blog post that focuses on the follower dungeons in the much-anticipated Dragonflight Patch 10.2.5! This new feature allows players of all roles to enjoy normal mode dungeons with a group of NPC party members. It's a fantastic addition that brings a fresh and thrilling twist to your dungeon-crawling adventures.

Seeds of Renewal: Explore the Dragonflight Dungeons

In the Seeds of Renewal, players ranging from level 60 to 70 will have the incredible opportunity to play through the normal difficulty Dragonflight dungeons either solo or with friends, aided by a group of loyal NPC teammates. The best part is that you'll even be able to earn appropriate level gear for your selected specialization, just like you would in any other normal mode dungeon run.

Whether you're a solo adventurer, curious to explore the dungeons by yourself, or you want to bring along a couple of friends to learn the mechanics and boss fights together, you can now easily queue up and join this exciting new type of dungeon feature directly within the Group Finder (I) tool.

Available Dungeons:

  • Ruby Life Pools
  • Nokhud Offensive
  • Brackenhide Hollow
  • Halls of Infusion
  • Algeth’ar Academy
  • Neltharus
  • The Azure Vault
  • Uldaman: Legacy of Tyr

Once inside the dungeon, you can choose your role as a healer, damage dealer, or tank, and the NPC followers will fill in the remaining positions to complete your group of five. These loyal companions will not only assist you by providing buffs but will also set up a mage table if you're feeling peckish during the dungeon crawl.

During your adventure, you have the flexibility to decide how you want to lead the party through the dungeon. You can either take charge, assign another player from your group as the leader, or let one of the NPCs guide the way. Simply toggle on the "Dungeon Assistance" feature whenever you wish to let go of the reins and allow them to lead the way. Whether you choose to be the leader or follow, your new allies will adjust their pace according to your style, enabling you to comfortably explore the dungeon and find your role within it.

If you decide you want to take control again, you can easily turn off the Dungeon Assistance by clicking on the updated selection located in the center of your screen. This grants you the freedom to resume leading your team whenever you feel ready.

Sharpen Your Skills and Explore with Friends

Follower Dungeons provide a fantastic opportunity to not only enhance your skills in the Dragonflight dungeons but also to gear up and spend quality time exploring with a friend or two, all while being accompanied by your trusty NPC companions. It's an exciting and entertaining experience and we can't wait to see you in the Dragon Isles! Ready to try something a bit more harder? Try the Mythic+ runs with one of our teams!
