Welcome to another WoW hotfixes update! Patch 10.2 has brought us some bug fixes and tuning adjustments for classes, dungeons, raids, and PvP. Let's dive in and see what's been changed!

Class Fixes

  • Death Knight

Frost Death Knights will see some changes to their Aberrus and Amirdrassil sets. The damage increase for Frostwyrm's Fury has been reduced to 4% and the effectiveness of the ability has been decreased to 25%. Howling Blast also received a damage reduction to 10%. On the other hand, the Amirdrassil set bonuses have been improved. Chill Streak can now bounce 3 additional times, the chance to proc a bonus effect has increased to 35%, and Chill Streak and Obliterate both deal increased damage. Enduring Chill and Piercing Chill also received buffs to their chances to bounce and damage percentages, respectively.

  • Druid

Restoration Druids will benefit from a 3% increase in all healing. Evoker Druids using the Augmentation specialization will see a fix to the Shifting Sands ability, which will now properly trigger twice when casting back-to-back empower spells with Tip the Scales.

  • Paladin

A bug causing Retribution Aura to fail triggering from some abilities has been fixed for Paladins.

  • Priest

Priests will now see the Mass Dispel cooldown reset when an encounter ends, resolving the previous issue where it wouldn't reset. Shadow Priests also received a 5% increase in all damage.

  • Rogue

An issue with the Assassination Rogue's Envenom ability has been resolved. Envenom's buff will no longer persist beyond its intended duration when used with fewer than 5 combo points.

  • Warlock

Affliction and Destruction Warlocks will enjoy a 6% increase in all damage dealt by themselves and their pets.

Dungeon and Raid Fixes

  • Murozond's Rise

Tyr, the Infinite Keeper's health has been reduced by 15% in Murozond's Rise. Additionally, Tyr will now only cast a single Dividing Strike within a sequence of the Infinite Hand Technique.

  • The Everbloom

The Ancient Protectors encounter in The Everbloom saw some adjustments. Dulhu's Noxious Charge and Noxious Discharge both received damage reductions, and Noxious Discharge's impact time has been increased. The issue causing Barreling Charge to hit players standing closely behind Urctos has also been addressed.

  • Amirdrassil, the Dream's Hope

The Council of Dreams encounter in Amirdrassil, the Dream's Hope has been fixed. Players will no longer experience issues with Barreling Charge hitting players behind Urctos.

Item Fixes

A number of cosmetic and collectible items that drop from unique rare elite enemies in Forbidden Reach and Zaralek Cavern will now drop more frequently. The Cache of Amirdrassil Treasures will now display the correct item level.

PvP Adjustments

  • Demon Hunter

Havoc Demon Hunters will now have Chaotic Disposition with a 33.33% chance to increase damage by 4% in PvP combat, providing a more consistent average damage bonus.

  • Druid

Eclipse will now properly track Wrath and Starfire casts even if it ends while the Druid is Cycloned. Fury of Elune will now deal damage to enemies who are not in line of sight of the Druid. Feral Druids will have reduced healing from Regrowth by 20% in PvP combat.

  • Evoker

Azure Strike's damage has been increased by 40% in PvP combat. Time Stop and Chrono Loop both received a reduction in cooldown.

  • Augmentation

Upheaval's damage has been reduced by 10% in PvP combat, while Eruption's damage has been increased by 15%.

  • Preservation

Dream Flight healing has been increased by 100% in PvP combat. However, mana regeneration is now reduced by 5% instead of 10% as before.

  • Priest

The Ultimate Penitence ability will now prioritize healing players in PvP combat and will only heal pets if all players are at full health. Holy Priests will benefit from a 6% increase in all healing in PvP combat.

WoW's 19th Anniversary

The Dragons of Nightmare encounter during WoW's 19th Anniversary event has seen some adjustments. The Lethargy stun has been reduced to 2 seconds, and Emeriss's Putrid Mushrooms have had their health reduced by 85%. The frequency of Emeriss's attack patterns has also been adjusted.
