Raider.IO Meta Dungeon Event Makes a Comeback on October 3rd

As Patch 10.2 approaches, Raider.IO is excited to announce the end of Dragonflight Season 2 with their Break the Meta competitive dungeon event starting on October 3rd. This event allows players to showcase their skills and mastery of off-meta specs and classes, giving them the chance to win fantastic prizes such as pets, game time, and the highly sought-after Smoldering Banner of the Aspects!

Break the Meta with Raider.IO

Break the Meta is a Push-Week Event developed by Raider.IO to highlight and celebrate each season's off-meta specs and classes. It's time to bring out your hidden talents and show what you're capable of with your Assassination Rogue, Brewmaster Monk, or Preservation Evoker! To participate in the event, simply complete any Mythic+ keystone on live servers with a group composed entirely of eligible specs, and you'll earn a spot on the BTM Leaderboards. By registering for the event through the BTM Registration Form, you'll also have the chance to win amazing prizes, including the exclusive Smoldering Banner of the Aspects!

• Competition Period

The Break the Meta competition will run for two full weeks, according to the following schedule:

• Americas & Oceania: October 3 - October 10, 2023
• Europe: October 4 - October 11, 2023
• Korea & Taiwan: October 5 - October 12, 2023

Please note that the competition period for each region will align with their respective weekly reset times.

• Break the Meta Leaderboard

In order to keep track of your progress throughout the event, Raider.IO will provide a Break the Meta Leaderboard. This leaderboard will display only BTM-Eligible runs, which are timed runs completed by groups composed entirely of the eligible specs. You can also filter the leaderboard by various criteria such as regions, brackets, factions, and more. Keep an eye on Raider.IO's Twitter and Discord channels for the leaderboard link!

Rules

1. Break the Meta is open to players in all eligible regions.
2. To be considered BTM-eligible, each run must be completed within the time limit and every player in the group must have played the entire dungeon using one of the eligible specializations.
3. Each Blizzard Account is only eligible for one prize per category.
4. Raider.IO reserves the right to disqualify any run for any reason.
5. To be eligible for prizes, players must register through the Break the Meta Registration Form before the registration deadline on October 15th, 2023, at 11:59pm PDT.
6. Prizes, other than the Smoldering Banner of the Aspects, will be distributed via Discord or Email. Players must respond within 48 hours of receiving prize notification, otherwise, their prizes will be forfeited.
7. The Smoldering Banner of the Aspects and Game Time prizes are available to players from all eligible regions, while the BTM Prize Bundle is only available to players from the NA, EU, and Taiwan regions.

• Smoldering Banner of the Aspects

Raider.IO has partnered with Blizzard to provide players with another opportunity to earn the Smoldering Banner of the Aspects! This in-game toy was previously only available to participants of various WoW Esports programs during this season. However, now you have one more chance to add this unique item to your collection by registering for and completing at least 2 BTM-Eligible timed keystones at level +15 or higher during the Competition Period. After the event concludes, the Smoldering Banner of the Aspects will be automatically added to your in-game collection (please note that some delays may occur due to Blizzard's preparations for Blizzcon and Patch 10.2).

• World of Warcraft Game Time

As Break the Meta is a competition, winners will be rewarded with 60 days of World of Warcraft Game Time. The highest Mythic+ Character Score achieved for each of the eligible specializations in all three regions - Americas & Oceania, Europe, and Korea & Taiwan - will determine the winners. A total of 63 winners will be selected, with one winner per spec for each region.

• BTM Prize Bundle

Raider.IO also wants to give all players a chance to win something, regardless of their keystone level or Raider.IO score. That's why they're offering the BTM Prize Bundle, which includes:

To be eligible for the BTM Prize Bundle, players must complete BTM-Eligible dungeons during the Competition Period while using the Raider.IO Client with Live Tracking enabled. Every completed keystone, regardless of the level, earns you one entry into the raffle. One lucky winner from the NA and EU regions will be chosen after the event's conclusion. Please note that dungeons without Live Tracking will not count as an entry for the BTM Prize Bundle.
