Season 4 of the game has brought some exciting changes to the dungeons, and we're here to give you all the details! We've gathered some information through data mining, and there are a lot of tuning adjustments that have been made. One of the most notable changes is to an important feature of the Neltharus dungeon. The chain ability, previously known as Neltharus Chains Burning Chain, has undergone a significant alteration. Instead of stunning enemies for just 1.5 seconds, it now stuns them for a whopping 5 seconds. While it no longer deals damage, it increases the damage taken by mobs by 50% for 5 seconds. This change will certainly add a new level of challenge to the dungeon.

Arcane Tendencies and Dragon Curses

Chargath, the fiery boss, has also received some changes. His ability, previously known as Fiery Focus, now deals high damage to the tank every second until the cast ends. Before, it only dealt damage if you were within the designated circle. This adjustment will make the encounter more intense for tanks, requiring them to be extra vigilant.

The curse of Warlord Sargha's Dragon Hoard has also been modified. Previously, the debuff lasted for 5 minutes, but now it only lasts for 30 seconds. However, it now stacks, adding an extra layer of difficulty to the fight. The Dragon's Eruption, another ability of Warlord Sargha, has also been tweaked. The radius of the eruption has been reduced from 7.5 yards to 6 yards.

  • Azure Vault Challenges

Azure Vault, another dungeon in Season 4, has seen some changes as well. The Arcane Tender's ability, Erratic Growth, now has a longer cast time of 3 seconds, compared to the previous 2 seconds. Additionally, the Drakonid Breaker's Shoulder Slam has been adjusted to hit all players within an 8-yard range, rather than just the primary target. It also increases the Physical damage taken by 10% for 12 seconds and ignores Line of Sight.

Azureblade, the powerful boss of Azure Vault, has had his Overwhelming Energy ability fine-tuned. Previously, it ticked every 2 seconds, but it now ticks every 2.5 seconds. Lastly, Umbrelskul, also known as The Big Crystal, has received a change to its Crystallize ability. It now pulses AoE damage every 1 second while the shield is active, providing an extra obstacle for players to overcome.

Academic Adjustments and Manafiend Modifications

Al'gathar Academy has not been spared from the tweaks. The Blue Dragonflight Pledge Pin, an item that grants a buff, now increases Mastery by 1109, compared to the previous 912. Additionally, the Trash mobs in the academy have received adjustments. The cast time of the Unruly Textbook's Monotonous Lecture has increased to 3 seconds from 2 seconds. The Spellbound Scepter's Mystic Blast has also seen a damage reduction of 40%. Furthermore, the cast time of the Corrupted Manafiend's Surge ability has increased from 2 seconds to 2.5 seconds.

In the CrawthFirestorm dungeon, the radius of the Firestorm ability has been reduced from 6 yards to 5 yards. The Savage Peck ability of the boss has also seen reductions in both initial damage (13.3%) and periodic damage (33%). These changes will certainly make the dungeon encounters more manageable for players.

  • Echoes of Powerful Beings

The Echo of Doragosa is a new addition to the game in Season 4. This powerful entity unleashes arcane energy, inflicting a hefty amount of damage to all players and opening Arcane Rift in nearby locations. Players will need to be prepared for the new challenges this encounter brings.

Reckoning in Nokhud and Uldaman

The Nokhud dungeon has received a much-needed adjustment. The Disruptive Shout ability now has a range of 40 yards, as originally intended. Previously, it did not have the intended range, which made the encounter easier for players. Additionally, the cast time of Nokhud Thunderfist's Deadly Thunder ability has been reduced from 6 seconds to 3 seconds. On the other hand, Ukhel Corruptor's Death Bolt ability has had its damage increased by 50% and its cast time increased from 2 seconds to 2.5 seconds.

Ukhel Beastcaller's Desecrating Roar ability has also been modified. It now summons 5 dogs instead of 3, making the fight more challenging. War Ohuna's Hunt Prey ability, on the other hand, has had its damage increase reduced to 150% from the previous 200%. Lastly, Balara's Ravaging Spear now travels 417% faster, making it harder for players to dodge.

In Uldaman, the Fiery Surge ability of the Lost Vikings has seen a 50% reduction in damage. The Containment Apparatus's Containment Beam ability, which was previously dealing high damage, has also been reduced by 41.2%.

  • Challenges in Brackenhide Hollow

Brackenhide Hollow is another dungeon that has seen some adjustments. The Bone Bolt ability of the Bonebolt Hunter and Rotbow Stalker now deal 33% less damage. The duration of the Bone Bolt ability has also been reduced to 6 seconds, down from 12 seconds. Rotbow Stalker's Bone Bolt Volley ability has had its cast time increased from 2 seconds to 5 seconds, adding more pressure to players. The Decayed Elder's Decaying Roots ability now has a cast time of 3.5 seconds, up from 2.5 seconds. Furthermore, Rotbow Stalker's Scented Meat ability now throws rotten meat instead of scented meat, adding an extra layer of challenge.

Other adjustments in Brackenhide Hollow include changes to Roxhexer's Decay Totem. Previously, the spell stacked and reduced haste by 2% for 20 seconds. Now, it no longer stacks and reduces haste by a flat 2% for the same duration. Stinkbreath's Violent Whirlwind ability now has a reduced radius of 6 yards, down from 7 yards. Hackclaw's War-Band has also seen changes, with Gash Frenzy now only lasting 15 seconds instead of the previous 45 seconds. Marked for Butchery has also been adjusted to dealing damage every 1 second instead of every 0.5 seconds. Lastly, Predatory Instincts now only increases haste by 5%, down from 10%.

Stellar Adjustments in Ruby Life Pools

In the Ruby Life Pools dungeon, the High Channeler Ryvati and Tempest Channeler's Lightning Storm ability has been adjusted to dealing damage every 1 second, compared to every 0.5 seconds. Kyrakka and Eckhart Stormvein's Inferno Core ability has had its damage reduced by 25%, but the duration has been increased to 4 seconds from 3 seconds.

The Challenges Persist in Dawn of the Infinites

Although Dawn of the Infinites is not part of the Mythic+ rotation, it still poses a challenge. The Earthsurge ability now only increases damage taken by 5% instead of the previous 25%.

Conclusion

With these adjustments and changes to the Season 4 dungeons, players will face new challenges and increased difficulty. It's important to adapt to these changes and strategize accordingly. Stay tuned for more updates and make sure you're well-prepared for the adventure that awaits!
