The Best Strategies for Earning Plunderstorm Renown

With the recent enhancements to the Plunder gain in Plunderstorm, there are new ways to earn Plunderstorm Renown efficiently. The previous farming method may still work, but it is no longer the fastest. Here, we will discuss the best strategies for maximizing your Plunderstorm Renown.

Play Duos with a Friend

If you want to earn double the Plunder, playing Duos with a friend is the way to go. In Duos, any Plunder your partner picks up, you will also receive. This means you get two times the Plunder for the same amount of time and effort. Additionally, when you eliminate a team in Duos, you will receive double the Plunder shower compared to Solo matches. With fewer squads in Duos, there is more Plunder available for you and your partner.

Moreover, Duos game mode tends to be more aggressive than Solos, leading to more kills and faster games. The effective combos that you can execute with a partner can easily eliminate players before they can even use their Crowd Control abilities. Remember, more kills mean more Plunder!

End Game Kills - Level Up!

The majority of Plunder now comes from end-game kills. After the recent update, defeated players drop a significant portion of their collected Plunder, which can be over 300+ Plunder in the end game.

Early game kills still do not provide significant Plunder, so it is advisable to avoid fights with other players during the early stages of the game. Instead, focus on farming and leveling up until you reach at least level 7, but ideally aim for a higher level. Once you have a level advantage or reach level 10, actively hunt down other players and loot their Plunder from their bodies. Also, remember that collecting Plunder grants experience, allowing you to level up faster.

While seeking end-game kills, it is essential to prioritize survival. However, take advantage of opportunities to secure kills whenever possible. Stay tuned for our upcoming in-depth guide with Tips and Tricks for Plunderstorm on Wowhead!

Striving for Victory

Since you are engaging in end-game fights, winning the game should also be a goal. Winning a match rewards you with an additional 500 Plunder, making it even more worthwhile to strive for victory.

To increase your chances of winning, aim to reach level 10 or a higher level than your opponents by the end of the game. Avoid engaging in 1-on-1 fights, as a third party could intervene and disrupt your fight when you are at full health. Utilize your skills strategically to gain an advantage in combat.

The Best PvE Approach for Earning Plunderstorm Renown

If you prefer PvE gameplay but still want to reap the rewards of Plunderstorm Renown, here are some quick tips for the best PvE-focused strategy:

  • Choose a relatively safe landing area that is not one of the major Points of Interest (PoI).
  • Acquire farming skills such as Fire Whirl or Star Bomb to efficiently defeat multiple PvE mobs simultaneously.
  • Defeat as many PvE mobs as possible and open Golden Chests to maximize your Plunder earnings.
  • Complete the Captain's Order quest in every game and the Daily Quests each day to obtain additional Plunderstorm Renown.
  • Once you have cleared out PvE mobs or looted all available chests, you can decide to venture into the storm, engage in PvP, or approach nearby enemies and accept defeat.

By following these tips, you can effectively accumulate Plunderstorm Renown while focusing on PvE gameplay.
