Class Adjustments Announced for Druid, Hunter, Paladin, Rogue, Shaman - Season of Discovery
Hey there, fellow gamers! WowCarry here with another exciting update on the latest class tuning adjustments in World of Warcraft. Blizzard has been hard at work, and during the upcoming weekly maintenance, they will be rolling out some tweaks to enhance the gameplay experience. These adjustments include improvements to Druid healing spells, Rogue's Redirect, and various Shaman changes. But that's not all, as Gnomeregan's mechanical bosses will be seeing a slight decrease in their increased armor values. Let's dive into the details!
Tuning Adjustments
Druid
The Druids are in for a treat with some significant changes to their healing abilities:
- Lifebloom will have its mana cost reduced by 50%. This spell will also refund half of its new base mana cost per stack when it expires or is dispelled.
- Living Seed will now heal for 50% of the critical heal that planted the seed, previously 30%. This healing effect will now bloom from non-periodic healing received, in addition to any damage taken.
- Nourish will have its mana cost reduced by 27%.
- Moonkin Form will not only reduce the mana cost of Moonfire by 50% but also increase the periodic damage of Moonfire by 50%. This change will also apply to Sunfire.
- Moonkins will now be able to cast non-healing Restoration spells without canceling their shapeshift, including Remove Curse, Remove Poison, Abolish Poison, Innervate, Rebirth, Revive, Mark of the Wild, and Gift of the Wild.
- Fury of Stormrage, when triggered, will make Healing Touch instant and castable in all shapeshift forms.
Hunter
Hunters will see a modification to their Dual Wield Specialization:
- Dual Wield Specialization will no longer grant a 30% damage bonus to Raptor Strike when wielding two weapons of the same type.
Paladin
Paladins will have some adjustments to their abilities:
- Crusader Strike will now deal Holy damage instead of Physical damage, ignoring the target's armor. It will also be affected by Holy damage prevention.
- Seal of Martyrdom will no longer trigger Art of War and will not be affected by Frost Oil or other weapon procs.
Rogue
Rogues can expect some changes to their skills:
- Redirect will no longer trigger or be affected by the global cooldown. Its own cooldown has also been reduced to 10 seconds.
- Main Gauche will now generate 3 combo points on the target and have a reduced base Energy cost of 15.
- Just a Flesh Wound will provide approximately 30% more threat for Rogue tanks.
Shaman
Shamans will receive various adjustments to their abilities:
- Two-Handed Mastery rune will now provide a 10% increased attack power and 10% increased chance to hit with spells after hitting a target with a two-handed weapon.
- Shamanistic Rage rune will grant 5% of the Shaman's maximum mana per second, instead of scaling from Attack Power, Spell Power, or Healing Power.
- Spirit of the Alpha rune will grant the casting Shaman a 20% increased Attack Power when the spell is cast on a target other than themselves.
- Earth Shield will have its mana cost reduced by 67%, and charges increased from 3 to 9. The base amount healed will now properly scale with level and be approximately 50% higher than before at level 40.
- Power Surge tooltip has been revised to provide a clearer explanation of its functionality. It will periodically grant mana every 5 seconds, equal to 15% of the Shaman's intellect.
- Ancestral Guidance cooldown has been reduced to 1 minute, previously 2 minutes.
Gnomeregan
Now, let's turn our attention to Gnomeregan, where some adjustments have been made to the increased armor values on certain mechanical bosses:
The higher armor values observed on mechanical enemies in Gnomeregan were intentional, but Blizzard has decided to fine-tune the armor on Crowd Pummeler 9-60 and Mekingeer Thermaplugg slightly. This adjustment will result in up to a 10% increase in physical damage received, depending on the existing modifiers. The Mechanical Managerie, on the other hand, has been confirmed to have the correct armor values.
With these changes and adjustments, Blizzard aims to address class performance and work on improving the overall gameplay experience for players. We appreciate their dedication to creating a balanced and enjoyable environment for us to explore. As always, stay tuned for more updates and happy gaming!
