February 15, 2024 3 minutes

Hey there, fellow gamers! It's WowCarry here, bringing you the latest update from Blizzard on the upcoming class tuning in your favorite game. After this week's maintenance, we'll see some exciting changes for Druids, Shamans, Paladins, and Mage's Conjure Water Rank 5. Let's dive in and see what's in store for us!

Druid Changes

We have some interesting updates for our Druid friends. Firstly, Swipe will now scale with attack power, giving it an additional 10% damage based on your attack power. Additionally, the threat caused by Swipe has been significantly increased, making it even more impactful in battles.

Another change is related to the Berserk rune, which will now allow Lacerate to hit 3 targets instead of just one. This will surely come in handy when facing multiple foes, increasing your damage output and efficiency on the battlefield.

The duration of Rip has also been enhanced, now lasting for 16 seconds instead of the previous 12 seconds. This will ensure that your enemies feel the full effect of this powerful Druid ability.

Lastly, the next Starfire cast after using the Starsurge rune ability will receive a damage increase of 80%, up from the previous 66%. Please note that a bug causing lower bonus damage than intended at level 40 has also been fixed. So, get ready to unleash even more stellar attacks!

Shaman Tweaks

Shamans, get ready for some changes that will enhance your abilities and make you an even more formidable force on the battlefield. The Dual-Wield Specialization rune will now provide a 50% bonus damage to your offhand weapon swings, boosting your overall damage output.

If you have Flametongue Weapon imbued on your offhand weapon, Lava Lash will gain 50% increased damage. This synergy will create devastating results against your adversaries.

The proc chance of Maelstrom Weapon has also been increased by roughly 50% when your main hand weapon or your two-hand weapon has Windfury Weapon imbued. This adjustment will grant you more opportunities to unleash this powerful ability and turn the tides of battle in your favor.

Mage Modifications

Mages, get ready for an improvement to your Conjure Water ability. Conjure Water (Rank 5) will now conjure a full stack of 20 with each cast, instead of the previous paltry amount of 2. This change will ensure that you have all the hydration you need for those intense battles.

Developers note that the tooltip will still indicate only 2 being conjured, but they aim to update it in the future. So, don't worry about the misleading tooltip and enjoy the increased water supply!

Paladin Enhancements

Last but not least, our holy Paladins have received some beneficial adjustments. The Art of War talent will now reduce the mana cost of Exorcism and Holy Shock by a whopping 80% when active. This change will allow Paladins to cast these spells more frequently and efficiently, ensuring that they can continuously support their allies and smite their enemies without running out of mana too quickly.

The base mana cost of Beacon of Light has also been significantly decreased. This will make it easier for Paladins to maintain their healing support and keep their comrades alive in the heat of battle.

Note that these Paladin changes were activated on all Season of Discovery realms on February 14, while the remaining changes mentioned above will go live on February 20 in this region. So, gear up and get ready to experience these exciting updates soon!

Final Thoughts

In conclusion, Blizzard has provided us with some thrilling class tuning updates for Druids, Shamans, Paladins, and Mages in the upcoming patch. These adjustments aim to enhance gameplay and provide a more balanced and enjoyable experience for players across the realms. We can't wait to see how these changes will impact the strategies and dynamics of the game. So, get ready to explore the new possibilities and unleash your full potential on the battlefield!
