Hey there adventurers! WowCarry here, and I've got some exciting news for all of you World of Warcraft players. This new phase will bring a whole host of updates and features to the game, so mark your calendars!

Season of Discovery Phase 3 Goes Live April 4

Get ready to embark on new adventures because Season of Discovery Phase 3 is going live on April 4 at 1:00 PM PDT worldwide. In this phase, you'll be able to level up from 41 to 50, earn up to 10 additional talent points, and face new challenges in the Sunken Temple, a brand-new 20-player raid dungeon. But that's not all, there's so much more to discover!

Blizzard has even released a preview video highlighting all the exciting changes coming with Phase 3. It's definitely worth checking out to get a sneak peek at what's in store for you.

The Temple of Atal'Hakkar 20-Player Raid

One of the most anticipated additions in Phase 3 is the Temple of Atal'Hakkar, also known as Sunken Temple, which will now be available as a 20-player raid. This raid will feature 8 challenging boss encounters and will introduce hundreds of new items, including revamped versions of original epics. Plus, the quest rewards have also been improved, giving you even more incentive to take on this epic raid.

  • Rune Preview

In response to player feedback, the developers have made some changes to Runes. In Phase 3, you'll find more Runes while leveling up, rather than having to wait until you reach max level. Each class will receive six new Runes, with new Rune engravings available on the Bracers and Helm slots.

  • New PvP Sets & Blood Moon Updates

If you're a PvP enthusiast, you'll be pleased to hear that Phase 3 will introduce a new 6-piece PvP set for every class. These set pieces will become available at Ranks 5-7, giving you even more options for proper damage mitigation gear. Additionally, the Blood Moon event will also receive some updates, including new level 50 rewards and a new currency. Plus, there will now be a time limit to use existing Bloodstained Commendations, preventing players from hoarding them for an automatic Rank 14 upgrade.

  • Nightmare Incursions

Phase 3 will bring a new PvE World Event called Nightmare Incursions. This event will allow players to access Emerald Portals located in Ashenvale, Duskwood, Feralas, and The Hinterlands. Behind these portals, you'll encounter corrupted enemies that you can vanquish for experience and Reputation gains towards the latest Faction, the Emerald Wardens. Get ready to fight back the nightmare!

  • Professions Updates

There will be plenty of new crafting recipes available in Phase 3. You'll be able to obtain them through quests within the Nightmare Incursions and the Sunken Temple raid. Look out for new epic shoulders, engineering bracers, and even a reusable alchemy flask. Additionally, Phase 3 will introduce Profession Specializations, raising the Profession cap to 300, and offering new Profession Specialization quests.

  • Dual Specialization

Starting from Phase 3, you'll be able to purchase Dual Specialization for 50 gold on any character that's at least level 40. This will allow you to switch between two different talent specializations on the fly, giving you more flexibility in your gameplay.

  • World Buffs

With the introduction of the Sunken Temple raid, players can look forward to a new World Buff. While Blizzard hasn't revealed the details just yet, we can expect an update to the existing World Buffs. Boon of Blackfathom will still benefit characters below level 40, and the Gnomeregan World Buff, Spark of Inspiration, will continue to be available for characters below level 50. Stay tuned for more information!

  • Quest Turn-Ins and Experience Gains

In Phase 3, there will be some changes to quest turn-ins and experience gains. Players will no longer be able to level quickly from repeatable quests such as turning in Marks of Honor, Wastewander Water Pouches, or Troll Tribal Necklaces. So make sure to plan your leveling strategy accordingly!

That's it for now! These are just some of the exciting updates coming in Phase 3 of the Season of Discovery. Get ready to embark on new adventures, face challenging raid bosses, and unlock powerful new abilities. There's never been a better time to jump back into the world of Azeroth. Stay tuned for more updates and happy gaming!
