In Episode 3 of the WoW Variety Show, we will take a deep dive into the ominous realm of Classic Hardcore. Brace yourselves as we showcase the first new Raid from the Season of Discovery. This action-packed one-day event promises to be filled with adventure, surprises, and boundless excitement, both for our contestants and the audience. To add an extra layer of fun, new realm-wide buffs specific to the Variety Show event server will be introduced. Variety Show: You Only Live Once

The WoW Classic Variety Show will feature three activities where our friendly competitors will showcase their skills. Get ready for some special surprises that will add even more excitement to the show. Here's a breakdown of the activities:

• 1. Race to Defeat Hogger

To kick things off, we start in Hardcore Classic on a fresh server dedicated to this event. Participants will create level 1 characters and race to level up until they reach a point where they can take down the infamous Riverpaw gnoll chieftain, Hogger. The first player to defeat Hogger while not in a party will be crowned the winner. But we couldn't forget about our beloved Wheel of Warcraft! Our talented gnomish engineers have been working tirelessly to add unique in-game attributes that will either assist or hinder the players along their journey. Stay tuned for more details on these attributes. This event is open for registration, and anyone can compete alongside some soon-to-be-revealed celebrity contestants.

• 2. Season of Discovery: Blackfathom Deeps Race

With the Season of Discovery launching on November 30th, the WoW Variety Show provides an early opportunity for players to race through the newly updated level 25 raid, Blackfathom Deeps. Gather your runes and prepare to defeat Aku'mai before the competition! Four teams will be invited to compete, and sign-ups are open now. Hurry and secure your spot as they are limited!

• 3. Mak'gora Madness

Remember those characters from the Race to Defeat Hogger? While some players venture to Blackfathom Deeps, others will have the chance to continue leveling those fresh characters in preparation for the ultimate challenge: Mak'gora Madness. Mak'gora Madness is a single-elimination bracket tournament where participants engage in lethal duels. Only one survivor will emerge victorious. The top 28 players with the highest levels before the start of this activity will enter the final bracket alongside four celebrity contestants. In Mak'gora, anything goes, and the ultimate victor will claim all the spoils!

But that's not all! We have exciting surprises in store for this episode, beyond the three main activities. Stay tuned for more information on these additional surprises as they will surely elevate the WoW Variety Show to new heights!

• How many spots are open?

While our activities are bigger than ever this time around, we still want to ensure the best experience for everyone. The Race to Defeat Hogger will have a maximum of 400 players. Spots will be allocated on a first-come, first-serve basis. The highest-leveled players will be invited to participate in Mak'gora Madness at the beginning of the activity. For the Season of Discovery Blackfathom Deeps Race, each WoW Celebrity Contestant will race alongside nine WoW Community Contestants, making a total of 36 available spots.

• When does registration close?

Registration will remain open until 10:00 AM (PT) on Friday, November 24, 2023.

• When will invitations be extended?

All invited contestants will receive their invitations by 5:00 PM on Monday, November 27, 2023.

• Who are the WoW Celebrity Contestants?
